Strago, he has lore and magic.
I don't like using Gau and Umaro, they can't be controlled, and I love to stel. Hey, where did my "a" go?! -------------------- "Look at me! I'm a receptionist! G'fa ha ha!" Quote Ultros |

Definitely Gogo since he has all the spells ever learned by any of your characters. Once u get him in ur party, u basically just equip a gem box and economizer and hes all set to go!

I have to go with Strago, his Lores are pretty useful, plus his physical attacks are really weak so he has to rely on magic more than most of the other characters.

Celes, Definatly Celes. She's cool, powerful, and a wicked spellcaster. I like that Square didn't make her a wimpy, 'good for nothing but healing', token female charecter. Those sorts drive me nuts. Though I too am disapointed in your... Lack of Mog.

My favorite is Relm, the FIRST character in my party to learn Fire2, Bolt2, and Ice2. Heck, she even learns those before Fire,Bolt, and Ice. Then, I'd go with Strago as a second. Grand Train is awesome! At level 32, He used Grand Train on Kefka, 3.4k damage. ^^ Relm is my favorite magic caster though.
