If you could play any one final fantasy game just like it is the first time you have ever played it, which would it be?

I would choose 7 because of how involving the story line is.

It depends on what I'm feeling at that moment. But I wouldn't matter playing 7 again either. biggrin.gif

FF6. I loved that game... if I ever find the guy who stole my copy, I will show him my impression of Black Mage- with him as Fighter! >:)

This is something I think everyone should try, get an emulator like ZSNES (don't worry guys, I have the original copy as well, so no stealing of FF VI for me), and do a web game over the internet with a buddy.

As you well know you can set it so that player 2 can control some of the characters in your party, and while this may not seem like much, you can talk between the two of you, and switch out who's running around as needed. A friend and I completed FFVI a couple weeks ago, and I must say, it was fun, recommended for any two people.

Note: if ye all would like to try a run of FFVI with the old Adma, let me know, I'll be glad to play it with ya, even be player 2.

Oh yeah, err... my vote would be FF6, if you couldn't tell

Edit: would work for Final Fantasy 5 as well, but me and a friend are currently going through Secret of mana, next if FF5, and then sieken densetsu 3, big list to play, but all the time in the world to play it biggrin.gif

Lets see, I've had FFVII since I was about 12 years old and I have played it multiple times, In fact I started playing it again on my last birthday in August.

If I could do the old memory zap and play again, it'd have to be Final Fantasy VII. It was my first Final Fantasy and Fourth RPG (The first three Dragon Warrior games were pretty straight forward) so I was expecting the game would end up something like you destroy all the reactors then fight President Shinra to beat the game. Suddenly, Sector 7 gets smashed, we're out of Midgar, and the entire concept of the game changes. It was absolutely amazing and unbelievable and I wish I could play it again without knowing what was going to happen, although I got so emotionally attached to some characters that I almost quit playing after Disk 1 the first time around.

hmm...seven, then four, definitely. seven is my favourite...and all my admirers here heart.gif know why...and four because of its depth on the system in question. ten i like better than four, and perhaps six as well, but 7...wow. the first time i played it i was nothing short of amazed.

DarkShadow, do you like XI, I bought it a while back, and after about 2.5 weeks I fell out of it, just couldn't make that level climb for some reason.

Definitely replay FF6. Just when you think the game is over, it just isn't over and your entire world changes. tongue.gif I've almost completely beaten FF6 to death, so I wouldn't replaying it just like when I first played it. FF4 would probably follow up as a good second place because of it's epic storyline.

Final Fantasy VI of course. It's my favorite game of all time and the first time I played it, it was an experience like none other. I never did anything but play that game, I was attached. I'm not all that excited about playing it again or anything, but I do wish I could replay it like I've never played it before. It'd be great.

Definatly FF6, it was the best game of the series, the first one I played, and the one that got me started. It is the best of all FF6
