My house doesn't have cable, so I sometimes download cartoons and such, or watch them on my brothers' computers.

What about you?

I watch all of the time. Basically, if I'm not either working, at school, or doing chores, I'm either on this here machine, or watching TV. I rarely play my PS2.

I only watch White Sox baseball and The Weather Channel. We do have cable but there's hardly anything intelligent on. Whenever I'm watching a show I just feel like I'd rather be doing something else. There's so much junk, like "OMG crop circles! The aliens are coming to take over the earth!" It's nothing more than propaganda used to boost ratings. The media is biased and the news channels always try to tell you what to think, like a form of brainwashing. Then you got those "science" shows on the Discovery Channel... no thanks.

What about sitcoms? Everybody loves a good sitcom. I love TV. It makes me smarter.

The only show that I will watch on TV is Angel. Most of the time, though, I'll end up having to download it instead of being able to watch it on TV. I'll sometimes watch a documentary or something if my fiance is watching it and I think it's interesting (he likes to have the tv on the History channel, Discovery channel or Science channel).

I like watching anime, but I don't watch the edited stuff that's on American TV. I download my anime and watch it on the PC.

ESPN is the only channel I ever watch... ever. I only time my tv will change stations is if it's another sports-affiliated subject on another channel (i.e.: NCAA on CBS, NFL on Fox, NBA, on ABC, etc.)
Used to also like to watch Comedy Central, but since they've stopped showing SNL, I haven't watched it a whole lot. I like to watch the stand-up acts on Comedy Central Presents once in awhile.

Other than that, tv sucks beyond belief nowadays. There isn't one quality show left....

Edit
I take that back... the only hour of tv I watch that isn't ESPN is every Thursday at 9:00... CSI is a quality show... heart.gif

and occassionally I jump onto Cartoon Network to catch Mucha Lucha or Samurai Jack.
Also, because of my granny staying here, I am forced to watch (or at least HEAR, and that's enough) soap's. Yeeeeech pinch.gif

I do watch a lot of TV, yes. More than I should? Probably. But there really isn't much to do around here at night. I watch a variety of things, a lot of Law and Order reruns and quite a bit of sports depending on the season. When I can, I try to catch shows like Mythbusters and American Chopper on Discovery as well.

And I try to watch American Idol so I can mock the losers.

Yeah, I watch a lot of TV. And I'm a multitasker, so I can pay attention to the TV and type at the same time. I lurve Sitcoms, like The Office, Scrubs, Friends, Will and Grace, and so on. I used to like Buffy before it ended, and thumbup.gif Elena, I watch Angel, too. David Borenaz is so cool.

I definetly watch more TV than I sleep, and since sleeping takes up 1/3 or your life or something of the like...I am one sad man.

EDIT: Argh, I forgot Simpsons which I always watch on a daily basis, and my favourite ever show South Park which I don't get to watch so often. I've downloaded like 200 episodes onto my comp.

I think TV is a very interesting window into the world of many different facets of life. I dun always watch TV just because I enjoy the programme. Like for example, when I watched Resident Evil on TV last night, I was pleasantly surprised to find that not allhorror movies rely solely on gore. As well as other local sitcoms shown here as well as documentaries, dramas and the like. They're sometimes not only fun to watch but also give some food-for thought!

Unforunately, I don't have cable, so I'm still missing out on quite a lot sad.gif

I generally watch whatever's being watched with one eye--which is generally Law and Order or the news. However, if I'm in control of the TV and something I like's on (and I'm not preoccupied), I'll watch it--mostly cartoons. I want to watch more Star Trek: TNG, but I never seem to be watching while it's on.

I'm usually preoccupied, though. So I voted for just certain programs, and whenever I'm bored. It fit best.

I also only watch certain programs. I've lived the last 5 years of my life without cable, so when I came to college and got it for free, I didn't really take advantage of it. I'm watching basketball like a maniac at present, but that's all except for Friday night standup on Comedy Central.

I only watch certain programs...I'm a sucker for reality tv, so I watch American Idol and Survivor. After that, I'll watch sports, but not much else.

Watch TV occasionally, as frankly, on Digital Freeview, you dotn egt much. Favourites are 2DTV, Floor Show, The Simpsons, BBC News 24, ITV News, Sky News,UK History, CSI, and the occasional decent movie.

But when it comes to sport, If theres a major football tournament or game on, i'll probaly watch
but if St. Mirren make a televised game, i wont watch it on TV. Cos i'll be there in the stands at Hampden!

I'm the only one that watches no tv.

I have no interest in it anymore.
I could be spending my time drawing or reading, instead of watching the garbage that is on tv anymore.

Yeah, I have cable... I used to watch TV a lot. Now I just watch a few shows that I like when ever they are on.
Shows I watch are:

Seinfeld
CSI
Simpsons
MXC (XD so hilarious)
Spongebob Squarepants
Reno 911!
Law and Order

Those are ones I watch. I don't really watch anything else.

I rarely watch TV, unless there's something about current politics on or it's news or it's Pokemon/Voltron/Eagle Riders/a select few other shows that I like. I'm the kind of person who thinks that 60 Minutes and Pokemon (the older episodes) kick The Simpsons's and Futurama's arses.

I also like some funny home video shows, Jeopardy, Home Improvement, BritCom (British Comedy), Early Edition, Martial Law, and a few other isolated shows.

I occasionally watch music performance/opera/play shows, as well as nature-oriented shows, but I rarely watch movies broadcast via TV.

I do not have cable, don't intend to get cable, and don't want to have cable. I joke that if I do get cable, the only stuff worth watching will be CNN, C-SPAN, Speed Racer, and Voltron.

Hey, you're not alone. I have no TV, and I'm glad to admit it. When some of the great shows like Seinfeld and Mystery Science Theater 3,000 ended, I gradually tuned out.

Truly, The Simpsons is still going strong, and The Family Guy, and South Park are funny too, but I just don't care anymore. Before I moved to California, I would watch the History Channel once in a while, but now the only moving pictures I see are DVD's of movies and anime, or video games.
