Ok, simple question: What is your favorite of the many side quests (that is, nonessential quests) in the World of Ruin, and why?

I voted for Cyan's Dream. Of the ones not listed here, my favorite is probably building an all-Imp party.

I liked Owzers mansion cause it was cool how u could fight paintings and the eerie portrait of GEHSTAL tells u were the treasure is and it lets u get Relm who is my favorite character and also gives u starlet a pretty useless esper.

Fanatics Tower, i love geting that Gem Box and proving to kefka that his magimaster can't hold a candle to me! Ha ha ha!

i definately said cyan's dream because it gives the most in depth look at characters history (in my opinion) and is also the most fun to complete

I definitely liked doing the Cyan's dream quest for a number of reasons.
1) Always wanted to fight guys named Curly, Larry, and Moe
2) The upper Sword Techs are pretty cool
3) Wrex-Soul is a challenging boss (without X-Zone, of course)
4) I love the Alexandr magicite
and most importantly,
5) It is the most character developing of all of the sidequests

Gotta be the Pheonix Cave. I love a good excuse to use Relm, Gogo, and Umaro, and not feel like I don't have my best party in there.

Cyan's dream is also my favorite because the Curley, Larry and Moe battle is one of the few battles that offered a challenge. When you do that battle with low level characters you really have to give it all you got to win. Before that battle it was interesting having to get your characters back. The battles can be tough with only 1 character (and the game always picks your #4 character I think) so getting the better characters is a good way of seing just how much of a difference they make. The only annoying thing about Cyan's dream is the Wrexsoul battle. I refuse to cheat by using X-Zone and do the battle the way it was meant to be done. Having to kill your best character is a real pain because he/she is so hard to kill. Plus killing your characters in general is not fun and is tedious.

Tower of Fanatics is the best side quest because it proves that the girls aren't really worthless and can do more than just stand around. I like it because one of my favorite parts of the game is learning and using the spells. But then again, maybe I'm just a nerd. haha

I like the Ancient Castle. The War of the Magi always interested me, and the Ancient Castle provided a little bit of insight to what it was like back then. And here's an interesting thought: the love between Odin and the queen shows that Terra MAY not have been the first product of a union between an esper and a human.

I voted Ebot's Rock because it seemed to have the fewest annoying points to it, and I just grabbed a huge amount of coral and loaded it into the hungry chest to get through. And then there was Hidon, the extremely ugly but re-battle-able boss who had a really cool attack (GrandTrain).

But then I realized I should have voted other, for Gogo's cave. That cave was frickin' awesome!

whoever said that the girls are useless? Terra, obviously, and Celes are my favorite characters, and I totally love magic in this game.
dont think I can pick a quest though, cuz I really like a couple, and kinda dont like the rest.
