Question about the mediator's Train ability

Hi guys. Glad people are still playing this game, but then again I know someone who told me he spent over 1000 hours on it... uh, yeah. Anyhoo, I'm not that crazy, so I just wanna ask, how does the mediator's Train ability work? It doesn't seem to affect the % of invite, and when a monster or human is critical it does nothing. So how does it work? Me can't figure it out.

humans.....dont get affected with Train. But it Works 100% at least it does for me.

Did your mediator physically put the monster in critical?

I'm not sure what's going on, I'm pretty sure train has a 100% success rate if you attack a monster and put it in critical.

Your character can be any class as long as Train is set as their Support Ability. You have to attack a monster and put that monster in its critical (near death) HP range. It will automatically join your party.
