There is new a FFVII: Advent Children magazine scan floating about the internet. Newsworthy is that it appears to feature the first images of Tifa, Marlene, and the Turks. There are also pictures of Vincent, Cloud, and the Sephiroth clones as well.

Don't mind the goofy pirate. He is just Jump magazine's mascot.

I think the character shots like great. Tifa's proportions seem to be a little more realistic now. The only real gripe I have with the scan is something that Elena99 pointed out in CoNchat. Cloud and Sephiroth's eyes appear to missing their glow.

Marlene? If you're talking about the girl in the sweater over by the pirate, I think that's supposed to be Yuffie.

But this is awesome. Tifa is my favorite character, and it's nice to see her in production for this movie (finally).

I'm going to have to stick with that as being Marlene. Apparently the text says "This child.." or something to that sort. That and Yuffie was supposed to be at least 16 or 17 years old, IIRC. The person in that picture looks nowhere close to being that old.

Possibly. It just looks to me like Yuffie's sweater, that's all. But I do agree, the kid in that picture looks way too young to be Yuffie.

I'm going to go with Yuffie on that one. Thanks for the info mate. I knew that cloud, sephiroth, barret, and vincent were going to be in it. I didn't know about more though, now I hope they put about all the characters in it. I still have my doubts on whether or not the movie will be any good, but I'll have to see that for myself.

I asked if Bikke was in the movie. Thanks for clearing it up, SSJC.
We noticed how much Tifa looks like Rinoa now. Especially in that picture on the bottom left, where she has those things that look like feathers floating around her.
Do all of the guys have to look androgynous?

I agree with SSJC that that looks like Marlene. Yuffie is around the same age as Tifa, so she wouldn't look as drastically younger than Tifa than those pics show.
They kept the logo, but made it slightly different. It looks like a welt with some disease spreading around it, like they do in those Sci-Fi flicks where a disease instantaneously acts.

Can anyone translate those captions?

I also saw a huge portion of FF7: Advent Children. I guess there are these three white-haired teenagers/young adults who are fighting against Cloud. I think they're clones trying to ressurect Sephiroth. Tifa and Vincent made an appearance, as well as a little girl who could be Marlene. Tifa was fighting one of the white-haired guys in Aeris' church, the most psycho looking of the bunch, and she pulled out some Matrix moves where she backflipped and landed on the side of a wall, and there were all these yellow petals flying around. Vincent was hanging out in the dark by a tree, then he walked around for a bit.

There is also a bad-ass motercycle chase between Cloud and the white-haired trio. At one point, we see a person sitting in a chair, covered head to toe in a sheet that makes them look either dead, or very shrouded so you can't see who they are. Joe and I speculated that if that person was Sephiroth, then perhaps Aeris is going to be ressurected, too.
