For DS ive started playin mario and luigi partners in time again just to pass the time till christmas. And just for kicks i've started playing the original paper mario. And last but not least for the GBA i'm still trudging through the soul shrine of FF6. Btw I'm thinking of getting chrono trigger for christmas and I wanted to see if its worth the money.

Unfortuantly University has gotten me more busy than i thought. I havent been able to try and finsh any of my new RPGs that i got about a year ago.

The only game that I do play when i have time is Mortal Kombat Trilogy. During these times, i feel that ripping off my oppnents head, or punching someone into a pit of spikes feels great, and I dont need to get into it because all i need to do is play.

I hope to get close to finishing Chrono Chross when all my finals are done, and I may give Final Fantasy 1 another go, but other than that, i just havent had the time to game it up. oh well.

This coming week is finals week for me, which means I am relying heavily on video games for procrastination.

I am currently working on my Actraiser professional mode speed run. I beat the game 4-5 times per day, all under 30 minutes. I want to get a sub-27-minute run consistent. I did it twice, but nowhere near consistent enough.

When I am at home I play Battletoads a lot. I have just recently had a huge revelation and the game is super easy all of a sudden. I am working on speed running that also. I can usually get to level 8 without death or warps, but the boss usually kills me once. Last time I beat it, I maxed my score and finished with 22 spare lives (5 deaths). I want to get a consistent max-score run of around 28 minutes.

All the while, I dabble a little bit in Diablo II. I just got my singer Barb to level 90. Once my brother gets his computer, I'll likely play more.

Ah yes. You know, video games are so much better when it's 1:00 in the morning and you have an exam you didn't study for in a couple of hours. Great.

Right now its only Star Fox Adventures, but I play Rock Band, Brawl, or Sluggers with my bros. But I'm thinking about starting/finishing a game of Disgaea Ds or FF6 during break.

1000th reply!

I'm gettin back into Ragnarok onine, as my Xbox is being screwy (because my roommates are so stingy with the heating bill that the laser is too cold to read the discs right. blink.gif

The computer, on the other hand, doesn't have this problem. So I'm making full use of it. biggrin.gif

Really? That's cool. It's F3 or me. I've wanted to play that since E3.

Oblivion is brilliant and it'll last you absolutely ages. happy.gif

Recently I bought Soul Calibur for the PS3 and after just 18 hours of play time I've exhausted everything that is has to offer.

Since then I've started over on FFVI. Am 12 hours through and really enjoying it.

Will be getting GTA4 tomorrow for the PS3. Will probably not bother with it until I can't go into my sisters room to play on the PS1 some day.

Now, after getting my Christmas presents..

I'm still playing FFX, but on my new Xbox 360 (Yay!) I have Lego Indiana Jones, Soul calibur IV, The orange box and Dynasty warriors Gundam. I also got FFT: The war of the lions for my PSP, and some Sonic game for my Nintendo DS. I also got Fire emblem: Shadow dragon this time in English (I imported it when it got released in Japan a few months ago). I got the new Wario game for the Wii, the new Animal crossing and No more heroes. My brother bought some old used games for the XBOX and Gamecube as well.

I don't have the time to play everything tongue.gif

EDIT: Oh, and if you wonder, in Sweden we celebrate Christmas during Christmas Eve.

I'm messing around with FFIV Advance.

I finished FFIV DS just recently, and I want to go back and do the bonus stuff on there (once I figure out what that is...) to get some real mileage out of my Adamant Armor. But instead, I'm remembering FFIV as it was "originally" (I use that word loosely). Currently in the Sealed Cave killing Trapdoors.

I might be getting Chrono Trigger for Christmas, and this will be my first time playing it.

I've been playing Ragnarok Online (and am right now, as a matter of fact). I got Disgaea DS for Christmas so I've been playing that, too. My cousin leant me his guide book for Xenosaga Ep. 1 so I restarted a file there. Haven't really played on that one much, though.

I thought Fallout 3 was overrated. I am just out of the bomb shelter and am bored of the game. As I understand it the pace picks up considerably. I'll probably wait until I finish up a few other games, then I can dive into it better.

GTAIV. Good as always. I'm only like 3% done with the game.

FFVI. Nearly done, just leveling and gathering equipment for the assault on Kefka's Tower.

Mortal Kombat vs. DC. Just getting to where I am throwing down combos consistently more than I am button mashing.

Socom: Confrontation. Just started a few days ago. Trying to get acclimated to the new maps. The improved graphics actually make it harder for me to spot enemies. Graphics, amazing. Gameplay, leaves something to be diesired. More maps and weapons would be good too.

Madden '09. Same ol' same ol'.

I thought the Madden IQ thing was a good addition.

I think that Fallout looks really good. Yep, still haven't bought it. It better not be overrated, or I'll be ticked, especially after paying $60.

Off topic, but does anyone else think games are getting too expensive?

I have a feeling if you compared them with the normal rate of inflation that were not really overpaying. I also read where Sony loses money on every PS3 they sell (or at least they did in the beginning). So the only way they could hope to make money was on accessories and games. But $60 does seem excessive for something your going to get 50 hours of gameplay out of and potentially never use again. They should charge more for the consoles and less for the games.

In the past week, I have beaten FFVI, Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core for the second time, and I beat Minerva, booyah! I've also just played some free online games on sites like Newgrounds.com and Armorgames.com I also went over to my friends house and we played GH: World Tour, which rocks. (no pun intended) We beat "What I've Done" 100% together on Hard me singing and my friend playing lead guitar.

Finally got it! It's awesome.

The front lags pretty bad, but once you get past it the game gets better and better.

It might just be the most immersive game I've ever played. Really.

This is going to sound borderline-neurotic, but I'm playing Deus Ex and FFXII again, and the total combined hours of each must be 500 hours apiece.

I've managed to find even more new things in DX even after all this time. After repeated conversation, a homeless man confessed that he was the one who told the NSF when the Ambrosia shipment would arrive because he used to work as a shipping clerk. I thought that was really cool. Also I killed all the Rooks before speaking to El Rey. He gave me the LAM for free and JC told him to go back to school! When I turned my back he threw another one at me. Then in Hong Kong I found that the newspaper lady will tell you more stuff as the events in HK progress. She's on Maggie Chow's side. I don't think there's much left to find out about the characters, groups or history, but somehow, every time I play this game again I discover more depth to the story.

FFXII is back on the agenda because I've got my PS2 and TV here finally. I'll be playing it for a bit to try and beat the Gnoma Entite at the beginning of the game with only Vaan alone as a possible playable character. It's really tough, but I think I can do it. My friend and I originally started this save to beat the T-Rex with Vaan on his own, but now that we've done that, I'm playing it more as an MMO. It's great because he's level 67, and so every character I get is roughly the same level as him. This is really just a warm up until my Japanese copy of FFXII International arrives, then I'm going to have to sweep all those different license boards and beat all the challenges. I really can't wait to start.
