I'm finishing my playthrough of yoshi's island ds. And I'm also playing Mario Strikers Charged. Right now, i'm wondering why I'm not playing it. Its a great game, anyone who has a Wii and a spare $52.87(if it's the same tax and price here) should definetly get it. And I'm Playing FFVI and FFXII every so often.

My new PSP is eating up some time with Maverick Hunter X and Daxter, plus multiplayer Smash, Third Strike, and Taisen 4 on the side.
Next week is my first major run of exams, so there will be very little gaming taking place outside of occasional multiplayer on weekends. Then October happens, and the five games I currently have preordered (Zelda Phantom Hourglass, Castlevania: DX Chronicles, FF Tactics Lions' War, Guitar Hero 3, and Phoenix Wright Trials and Tribulations) will receive my full attention. -------------------- |

I beat Tales of the Abyss, and now I'm part way through my second playthrough. I'm in Grand Chokmah when Guy's Curse Slot is being removed.
I also picked up Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and that game is extremely addictive. I beat it once and did a little bit of the after the game stuff, then started it over. This time, I'm an Eevee called Asch and my partner is a Pikachu called Natalia. Lastly, I finally got my hands on a copy of Final Fantasy Tactics and am at the beginning of the first chapter. Yay for me! -------------------- Why, hello guys! Haven't been around here in a loooong time! http://dragcave.net/user/LadyTwi http://www.backloggery.com/ladytwi |

I beat Splinter Cell not so long ago. Then bought True Crime and couldn't beat it for that bitch Lola and that stupid General guy who won't burn when you kick him into the fire. Played Metal Gear Solid and didn't like it. Got given FFXII (free, no case or instructions but it works) and Bully, working on those at the moment.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I AM playing games.
Hanyou gave me his copy of HL2 when he got Orange Box, so I'm playing through that and, as much as I hate to admit it, I love it to death. I have a play of Super Mario World lying stagnant, and FFX, too. I hear I should finally get around to finishing Chrono Trigger. Maybe I will. Huh, I can't play multiple games at once like some of y'all. I've only been playing Wild ARMS II (2nd time) lately, and maybe this time I'll get around to finishing it. It really is an awesome game

October is a crazy month for me and my handhelds. I'm currently switching between Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and FF Tactics War of the Lions at the moment, but when Dracula X Chronicles and Phoenix Wright 3 come out next week all bets are off. And Guitar Hero 3? That game'll probably dominate my winter break, but until then, no PS2 / no rocking for laszlow.

I already beat Phantom Hourglass, with a mild tinge of disappointment in the ending I might add... But I didn't 100% it by any means.
The same goes for my game of Metroid Prime 3, I've beaten the game with a >75% completion rate, but the 100% currently eludes me, since I restarted the game on the hardest mode, and am having issues with the last boss. ![]() I bought a copy of FF III for the DS, and thought it was really cool until I went through a phaze where the jobs I picked weren't good enough because I had to mini my team, requiring a ton of mages... I'm looking forward to what may come of Guitar Hero 3. I'll be on vacation at the actual time of release, so I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. If I find a Best Buy in California, I may just use my reward points to buy it outright. Just beat Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin.
I wont be able to replay it on HARD 01 like I wanted, because I borrowed the DS I played on from a friend and I have to give it back today :< Also, I'm currently playing the NES Castlevania and Metroid games. ![]() -------------------- "I fell off the mountain of words at around the 10,000ft mark. Quote (SilverMaduin @ 18th October 2007 07:20) Also, I'm currently playing the NES Castlevania and Metroid games. ![]() Attaboy. I just finished Dracula X Chronicles - it was pretty fun and very pretty, but it's no Symphony of the Night. Still, the buy was totally worth it considering that it's a solid game in its own right, has a remastered and expanded SotN (with new familliars, the Saturn extras, and iffy new translations and voices, and two oldschool Cv games (the original TGCD Rondo and SNES DX) as extras. I'm on the final case for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations, and it's pretty awesome so far. Each case is a total hit (there isn't the obligatory lame third case this time) and I love Godot - this game has sort of more plot than the other two in the series, and I totally approve. Yeah, those two are taking precedence right now, so War of the Lions and Phantom Hourglass are on the backburner somewhat. I'm also playing a ****ton of Guitar Hero 3, Guilty Gear ^c (best fighting game on the PS2? quite possibly), and assorted other fighters in multiplayer. -------------------- |

Now, I'm currently replaying FFX, trying to replay FFXII and actually finish it this time, and putting in some time on FFX-2*. I still have to work through Phantom Hourglass and FFIII on my DS, and I've started a new SCC on FFV. In two week I'll add Super Mario Galaxy to the list, and sometime after the holidays I'll start Tales of the Abyss, and possibly another PS2 RPG title yet-to-be-determined when I buy it.
*My current opinion on this game: The battle system and job system are better than people let on. The story is worse than what people had led me to believe. At least so far. I'm only half-way through chapter 1 though. -------------------- Oh sure, I don't have to get kicked in the junk to activate it, but I like it anyway. -- Thief commenting on the difference between Throw and Blue Magic. |

I've got 4 games on the palette lately.
- Team Fortress 2 - Lord of the Rings: Online - Guitar Hero 3 and - DWARF FORTRESS!!! Website! The learning curve is like a reinforced concrete wall, but the depth of play here is... pretty much unseen anywhere else. The gist is you control seven dwarves as they sally forth to create a new ultimate fortress/city. You outfit them, set their various skills, choose a place in the randomly generated world to start, then... start. We're talking a world that feels alive and is fully malleable, where you can dig catacombs underground, tunnel into a mountain, or simply build some wooden shacks. Once you're situated and survive approximately a year, your first immigrants will start to arrive, and the little outpost becomes a bustling metropolis... or a giant tomb. Personally, mine are always tombs by year 4. ![]() I believe the motto of the game is "Losing is fun!" Oh, and how fun it is. AND it's all in rendered in ASCII. ![]() ![]() -------------------- With the lights out It's less dangerous |

Tales of the Abyss!!1! Yay! This game has so many sidequests, that's pretty much all I've been doing. I just got the Abyss Man outfits and they're really.... odd. I also like the conversations that were had when I fought in the spa wear.

Just finished Twilight Princess. Impressive game, I got very immersed in the story (much like in OoT) that I avoided hunting for treasure and heart pieces so I could see the end. Overall I still liked OoT better, though. Still, it's a very close call. Now to beat the rest of the games in the series.
