I'm not one for powerleveling or learning abilities quickly but for my seventh time through I decided I'll check out out these "Object d'Art/Rock Statues".

What are so special with the Object d'Art. I found them good for decently easy AB points at the time.

They're in an easily accessed area relatively early in the game, they give disproportionately high ABP and low EXP, and they can be slain with a single Lvl. 5 Death !Blue spell. That's a pretty nice situation.

Right now it's just been Final Fantasy XII (I'm actually pretty amazed by this one...), and Guitar Hero 2.

Four main songs left to five-star on Expert! Damn you Laid To Rest, Psychobilly Freakout, Institutionalized, and Misirlou! Not counting Jordan and Six, of course... finished Six, but it's only at 3-stars. Jordan's just evil, can't get past the 60% complete mark... sad.gif

Meh, Object d'Art isn't really worth it. As I said, I'm not one for powerleveling/rushing with abilities. I think I spent an hour down there, mastered a few jobs. I won't deny that it's good but you can get almost (if not better) before the Ronka ruins anyway.

Still playing Final Fantasy V Advance, I'm loving this bonus dungeon and I'm starting to gain more love for the job Berserker, whom I already knew could deal 7000 is a single blow... mastered heaps of jobs now - but for anyone who powerlevels it'll look like nothing, then again anyone who powerlevels feels the game is less fun as well. That happened to me on VIII. Mad Rush, too good to be true, seriously eh.gif .

Grand Aevis was a pain, took me a while. Right now I have a key. wink.gif My status is actually in my signature.

On another note my lazy ass hasn't played StepMania in a while... (You can do it Jared! You can do it!) sad.gif Been so hot.

Whoops, ranted on a little.

@ Ceaser: you reckon your Berserkers can take on the dungeon? happy.gif I suppose you'd have to swap to Beastmaster for one moment though. Catch and then run away from battle would be a fair way to go about it.

Just finished MegaMan Battle Network.

Recently untabled Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, but right now I can't decide whether to keep two of my clan members, so it's gotten tabled again, for me to get stuff that needs to get done in real life, hopefully.

Man, playing FFTA is so much more fun than dealing with stuff like applications.

I'm playing through FF V and VI although I have completed them, but I just love them.
Also I'm playing Chrono Trigger for the forst time, I think it's a really good game and I'm hoping I'm able to complete it soon.

After that, I'm going to flip a coin between Dragon Quest VIII and God of War.

I just finished Fatal Frame 2 on Easy again to stock up items for a Nightmare attempt, but I don't know if I'm actually going to make that attempt soon or not.

I got Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow for the DS as a Christmas present, and I'm going through that. So far, I'm feeling compelled to kill everything over and over until I get its souls and drops, and that's making this take forever.

I also got Super Princess Peach, which is a surprisingly good game! I'm near the end already and it's pretty easy, but it's a really cute concept, and...PEACH!

Elebits and Twilight Princess for the Wii are in my basket (I keep a basket next to the TV for game cases to avoid clutter while allowing laziness), but I've been putting more time in on my DS than on my consoles.

Lastly, Indigo Prophecy for the PS2 (another Christmas present) recently frustrated me into taking a break. The concept of the game is pretty good--it feels like you're playing a movie, but not in a Xenosaga way (which I guess is more like watching a game). Unfortunately, the goals are sometimes pretty oblique, and I'm stuck in a giant bookstore looking for a book with no clear method of going about it...

I have Phoenix Wright, too, but I haven't been playing that since the day I got it. I'm too much of a Law & Order junkie to deal with the completely ridiculous version of the criminal justice system presented in this game.

Baldur's Gate 2 (as always; nothing like fan-made modules to keep my fave game fresh heart.gif )

I've also rekindled some interest in Icewind Dale 2. In particular, I'm anticipating a fan-made module that I hope will add some much needed party interaction to what's mostly hack and slash. In the meantime, I'm trying to finish a playthrough I started over a year ago.

For awhile, I was also playing through Bahamut Lagoon, but, for the time being at least, it has taken a backseat to the other two games.

I'm only playing Final Fantasy 9 (my own disc) at the moment, on my ePSXe emulator. I just finished getting all the required plugins and bios to work last night.

At the moment I just got in Lindblum (saved at Moogle point in castle). Now I'm just taking a little rest before I use up another hour of walking around town and tapping the buttons to skip through the dialogues..

I'm currently doing several things:

+ FFTA (again)
+ Pokemon: This time, I'm playing the blue version, but I plan on abusing the "mew glitch" in order to get myself a complete Pokedex using ONLY ONE game. I have three badges so far, and about 50 pokemon in my dex, but I'm having trouble deciding what pokemon to train and who to teach the HM moves to. I've been studying not only the mew glitch FAQ but also lists of pokemon, their hex value identifiers, a complete list of trainers, and the Azure Heights Pokemon Laboratory's RBY training/strategies/stats database. It's a very research-intensive project, so I've tabled it temporarily after doing it for about 2 days straight.
+ I've been sighing and giving rom hacks another chance--with Zelda Parallel Worlds and Super Metroid Redesign, because I'm still itching to play Castletroids and I don't have DoS or PoR. Hopefully, these will live up to the level of quality I'd except from a decent commercial game...

I just finished Hotel Dusk: Room 215 for the DS, and when FF VI Advance drops either tomorrow or Tuesday I'll be working on that during lonely nightwatch.

But on my consoles, I'm going to be doing things a little different. I'm currently playing Rogue Galaxy, which is a Level-5 game that is honestly one of the best action-RPGs I've ever played (I can't decide whether I prefer RG or FF XII...).

HOWEVER, I recently found the Zelda Collector's disk (Legend of Zelda, Adventure of Link, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask on one disk) a few days ago at Gamestop. Since I've never owned an N64, I've never played Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask for more than a few hours total. I also own a copy of Wind Waker for the Gamecube that has gone nearly untouched for over a year. So, while playing Rogue Galaxy on the side, I am now going to start a new gaming project - beating Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Wind Waker in succession. The last time I took on a Zelda game was when I beat Minish Cap several months ago, and I've thoroughly enjoyed many games in the series (namely all five of the handheld ones plus A Link to the Past). So it's kind of strange that I've never tried out any of the series critically-acclaimed 3D iterations, and now's a decent time to start, right?

Congrats on the find. Now you can fully understand why Nintendo rated Ocarina the greatest nintendo game of all time. And even more importantly, between the lore of Ocarina, and Wind Waker, Twilight Princess will be probably the best forward moving retrospective you will ever play. I know it was for me.

Back on topic!

I recently got a Wii, so I've actually been keeping track of my Wii fitness age in the Wii sports almost daily, I've achieved a pro level in tennis, and I still haven't gotten the boxing to work right (i don't wait for it to respond correctly thumbdown.gif ).

I bought Trauma Center: Second Opinion for my Wii and have acutally gotten some XS ratings in hard, usually under the influence of alcohol tongue.gif , so if you need tumors taken out of your pancreas, buy me a bottle of Creme de Menthe, and we'll get those bad boys out!

I'm also taking advantage of the classic games on the Wii, and have downloaded MarioKart 64, and have about half the Gold trophies won, and I downloaded Toejam and Earl for Sega Genesis, and Toejam's current status states, "Toejam is a Dude."

Also, been getting back into Super Smash Bros Melee with my Wii (Yay backwards compatibility!), but if you want to hear about that, there is a forum about 99 stock battles.

My gameboy alternates between FFIVA and FFVA, and i'm waiting for FFVIA

My computer emulator is currently working on my Single Character, single class FFV game. If you want to hear about that, there's a forum on that in the FFV section as well.

I'm also awaiting the monday that nintendo decides to release Super Metroid for the Classic gaming downloads, because when it happens, EVERYTHING ELSE is put on the backburner. I may even take a day off work for that.

I've been playing FFVa once in while. I'm embarassed because I got it for Christmas and still haven't beaten it. It's just frustrated the heck outta me because I'm always getting killed by the random battles (and the bosses for that matter) even though I'm not over-levelled. Go figure.

I'm actually finding it hard to concentrate on my old games when I'm waiting to get my PS2. I've also been preoccupied by FMA. I think my gaming life is at it's lowest ever.

I had another game of SO3 in progress, but that'll be put on hold for now. I also wanted to play ToA on Hard Mode and get all the things I missed (it's impossible to only play a Tales game once), but Final Fantasy VI Advance comes out tomorrow, so that'll probably consume me. Also playing Tales of Phantasia: Full Voice Edition, which will also be put on hold.

Wow I haven't ever posted in here. I'm playing Fahrenheit (PS2) at the mo - as I've said in another topic. I really like the characters, and the way that you play the killer and the detectives, so that you're basically chasing yourself.

I've more or less put Indigo Prophecy on the back burner and moved onto other things.

I haven't finished Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, but most of my DS time is taken up by Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime.

My PlayStation is busy with Suikoden V, and my Wii is mostly on Zelda: Twilight Princess.

I've also been going through Zelda: Four Swords Adventures again.

I need to just buckle down and do something.

I finally beat FFV! I've been too long on that one.

I've now resumed my FFVI ROM (I feel really bad for leaving that one so long) and I played a few rounds on Wario's Woods. I used to play Wario's Woods a lot when I was little, so it gives a sense of nostalgia to play it again.
