Working a bit on Beetlejuice(NES) and Donkey Kong Country 3(SNES), even though I don't like these two I just felt like playing them. And I'm also working on my Solo Cecil Challenge in FF4a(GBA), my No Mages Challenge in FF5a(GBA), and my Solo Ramza Challenge in FFT(PSX). I've been really powerlevelling alot during the first winter break day.

I recently started a new game of SMRPG and I'm thinking of playing a file I started on Chrono Cross. I'm done with my playthrough of IV Advance(the first time I actually beat any port of it), but am unsure if I'm going to do the Lunar Ruins yet and I'm about 90% through with Final Fantasy III(DS) and Final Fantasy XII. I'm struggling with Final Fantasy V Advance because I've never gotten that far with it. I don't have any plans on finishing up Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria until I finish XII at least.

I'm hacking through the very end of FF V Advance, trying to get into FF XII (maybe forty-five minutes in; I just don't have the time atm), and am still struggling mightly to try and conquer the HARD ROCK difficulty setting of Elite Beat Agents. I've finished as far as I'm content to go in PoRNDS (1000% on maps, all quests, but not a complete bestiary or item list), but FF III DS is going on hiatus for awhile.

List of games I need to play:

FFV (replay, to refresh my memory of everything, and to remember what all the items are in the SNES translation version)
FFTA (get on with it)
Lufia and the Fortress of Doom (I feel a need to become the local Lufia guru as well)

List of games I need to get:
Metroid Prime
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (some kids downstairs are "educating" their friend in the ways of Zelda, but making him play OoT and LttP)

List of games I might want to get:
Luigi's Mansion
Wild ARMs 4
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes

What I just finished replaying:

only one at the moment: Lunar Silver Star Story Complete.

I was thinling about picking up a rare (im assuming) square game called Vargant Story. A friend who owns a game shop picked it up and its still in the plastic bag!

Vagrant Story is a really great game from the same formerly-Quest then-Square development team as FF Tactics and FF XII. It also has a localization supervised by Alexander O. Smith, who for my money is the best localizer / script translator of all time (he did Vagrant Story, FF X, FF XII, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and a bunch of other games with great English scripts).

But it isn't rare. It was rare for quite awhile, but then its numbers got boosted by a Greatest Hits re-release three years ago, at the same time as FF Anthology, FF Chronicles, and Xenogears. I found a shrinkwrapped black-bordered copy new for twenty-five bucks around the time it received that pricedrop.

I'm still playing Resident Evil 4. Such a fantastic game! Loving it, so much to unlock as well. I hope Resi 5 is even better.

The only games I got for Christmas were Tales of the Abyss and Guitar Hero (with the controller). I haven't started Abyss yet, because I'm a little occupied with my other gaming present.

Final fantasy XII - still out on whether i love or hate this one.

Gears of War - mother of god. never in my life have i played a game that entertained me as much as this. ever minute of this game ias filled with a constant barrage of enemies to kill. the entire game you feel like you're completely screwed, but yet somehow you make it through.

I have a constant affliction of playing FFT a few times a month, jsut when I'm in a mood to pick it up.

World of Warcraft dominates my gaming time these days though, mostly.

GH1. My parents found the original GH1+controller package on Amazon. I've already cleared all of the songs on Medium (most of them are four stars with a few scattered fives) and I'm currently working on Hard.

Haven't played KoF in three years since I last played KoF'99 for the PSX iirc. It was a pretty fun fighting game and I was happy to find a rom of KoF EX Neo Blood for the GBA. After downloading it, I've been quite hooked into the game. And the GB and GBA rarely has fighting games developed for these two systems.

Still playing through my SoloCecilChallenge in FF4a. Currently at the Magnetic Cave. Seems kinda interesting and he's already at level 26 (I overleveled because enemies dropped WAAAAY too much EXP and I fought them all like a real man smile.gif )

Kinda bored at my No Mages Challenge in FF5a. Just randomly choosing any physical job and mastering it at the DhomeChimera's desert area. Everyone's at level 28 and I still haven't went to the Ancient Library yet.

I also decided to replay Batman Returns for the SNES and the Sega GameGear version (haven't beat this version yet, but it's not bad if you see it as an adventure game more than a beat em up comparison).

After giving up on Final Fantasy XII, I decided to start a couple of games I had left behind.

- Ico (I loved Shadow of the Colossus and I'm loving Ico)

- Final Fantasy V Advance (I loved this game when I played the SNES Rom and I still like it now)

- Valkyrie Profile 2 (Just started it today, but it looks good)

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy V Advance / They've fixed a few bugs which is great and it's still my favourite fantasy, overall I'm loving it. I'm not one for powerleveling or learning abilities quickly but for my seventh time through I decided I'll check out out these "Object d'Art/Rock Statues". Not bad... not bad... wink.gif

Final Fantasy IV Advance / I still hate it, I played this for a few hours before I realised that I wouldn't like it. So I'm not currently playing this but previously played this.

StepMania / As usual. Constantly playing this.

Right now all I am consistantly playing is SSBM. Seriously. It's getting pretty bad. I have clocked 290 hours of actual gameplay into just my memory card. That doesn't include all the tournies I've gone to and all the all-night smashfests at other people's houses. There is an upcoming two-day all-state tourny this month that I need to practice for, though, so that makes me feel better about myself. Have to somehow justify all the hours I'm putting in. sleep.gif
