Final Fantasy V Advance, Final Fantasy III DSl, and Final Fantasy XII. I'm usually the guy that goes up to people and tells them to diversify and try out new games or series, but not this time. Three new ones in the same month? Binge time.
However, once I get my grubby hands on Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, all bets are off. Even if I have a save before the final boss of each of those games, Castlevania first. -------------------- |

It's just Final Fantasy III at the moment. I'm struggling with whether I should buy Final Fantasy V Advance (I don't want to just play the emulated version, I want the real thing!), or Tales of the Abyss.

Elite Beat Agents - absolutely hilarious and entertaining rhythm game; now I want to import Ouendan just to get some more of the same.
Final Fantasy V Advance - IMO, the best version of the game yet; still not as good as IV or VI, but this is a very solid port with some tasty extras. Final Fantasy XII - I haven't enjoyed an FF game this much since... hell, maybe since I first played Tactics; this is probably the best new FF game in eight years. -------------------- |

FFV Advance: Love it, just like everyone else.
Kingdom Hearts 2: Great sequel. They tinkered with it just enough to make some interesting improvements, while still making it feel like the original. -------------------- Hip-Hop QOTW: "Yeah, where I'ma start it at, look I'ma part of that Downtown Philly where it's realer than a heart attack It wasn't really that ill until the start of crack Now it's a body caught every night on the Almanac" "Game Theory" The Roots |

Quote FFV Advance: Love it, just like everyone else. same here currently I'm mastering classes ad naseum while not gaining EXP been a while since I've actually had four characters to use. The translation is much better than any from before. And i think the difficulty was untouched I really can't tell much difference. after I play through it once, I'm going to test for glitches. -------------------- "Have you ever seen a baby do that before?" |

I just finished the first mission in Angel Pine in GTA: San Andreas, and am also starting Lego Star Wars II (though my wonky graphics card seems to freak out at the end of the very first level and the LSW games promptly die when that happens).

Baldur's Gate II: Dark Alliance (PS2)
War of Conquest (online) ZeldereX Online (surprisingly enough, online) Once FFXII comes in for Christams, all bets are off. I've beaten BGII, just never with the dwarven rogue. FFXII
After playing it for a month straight, I'm a little worn down. Pretty fun, but after a weeklong vacation, the thought of going back and writing up the rest of the guide's bestiary isn't very fun. Growlanser Generations Bought it over Thanksgiving and didn't play it for awhile, but I'm rushing through Growlanser II -- it's supposed to be short, and I'm pretty sure I'm almost done with it, even at eight or nine hours in. Enjoyable game, although the monotone VA work makes me cringe. Growlanser III's up next. Guitar Hero 2 Yeah, breaking my fingers on the riffs. Not really as interested in doing career mode as I was in the first one; it's just a more relaxed bunch of Quickplay sessions. Favorite songs? Why, Jessica, Girlfriend, and Gemini! Shadow of the Colossus Now that it's on the Greatest Hits label, I figured I'd pick it up. Only about two or three colossi in and I'm having a good time with it. This one's supposed to be short as well, so I'm glad I didn't shell out for it earlier. Immersive like a fox, though ( ![]() -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |
