Well, since band camp is starting in a week, I hafta get all the playing out of my system.

Battletoads in Battlemaniacs (SNES) - this game is a lot harder than I thought. It was diificult for me to get past the first level at first, but when I got used to it, it was easier. I am consistant getting to level 5, but the damn rat with the buzzsaw keeps killing me.

FFV (SNES) - Monk SCC. Haven't played in a few days...I think I'm still on Ex-Death in world 2.

NBA Street Vol 3 (GC) - Great game. I got too good at it and haven't played in a week or so. Still, I intend to finish at some point.

Tetris (NES) - I'm always playing Tetris. Such a great game. happy.gif

Right now, I'm replaying Final Fantasy Tactics. It's been about 2 years since my first (and only) complete playthrough.
As of right now, I'm in the beginning of Chapter 2 with an average level of 15-16.

Right now, I'm replaying Final Fantasy Tactics, just because I think I've let a run-through go too long. I was playing Chrono Cross before that, but I started playing FFT by the time I go to to Terra Tower.

After that, it's probably FF8, just because I want to go through it while I still have mounds of free time before college. After that...Legend of Dragoon, maybe?

Replaying:

- Secret of Evermore (perhaps this time I'll finish it)
- Tales of Phantasia (forgot how much I loved this one)
- Resident Evil 3

Also, a friend let me borrow her Labrador copy of Nintendogs that she somehow got a hold of early (although it was released a day or two ago). As much as I despise the whole assinine virtual pet/pet simulation concept, as I see it, this one is exceptionally well done and provides a definite new take on the genre. Putting it another way: I actually like it. In fact, I just might end up getting my own copy. smile.gif

I've been playing Mortal Kombat Deception like crazy (literally blush.gif ). I love this game a lot. I've been so caught up in this game, I've been putting off my FFT replay.

Right now I'm Working on:

Fire Emblem
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Final Fantasy I&II: Dawn of Souls

And these are currently on hold due to the fact that I lost my Playstation:

Gran Turismo 2
Tekken 3
Final Fantasy Tactics
Tomb Raider: Chronicles
Street Fighter Plus Alpha
Twisted Metal 3

The only game I've ever actually finished was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for Game Boy Color.... and then I broke the cartridge. ;_;

Another month, new games on the playlist....

Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising - I beat this game sometime last year or two years ago, but all this talk about AW: DS being so awesome got me in the mood for some old-fashioned turn-based strategy (dammit, laszlow needs a DS....). I'm playing through Hard Mode to unlock that last CO.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - Again. I'm not hardcore enough to do an equipment-free playthrough, so I'm trying a capes-only playthrough smile.gif. The only accessories I'm allowing myself to equip and the Gold Ring and Silver Ring, for obvious reasons. I'm basically abusing Holy Water, Soul Steal, and Tetra Spirit to the max with help from my Sword Familiar.

Riviera: The Promised Land - Somehow, one of my friends beat this game five times in two weeks just to get all the endings. I think I'm on the last or nearly-last level (it's a really short game), but it's fun thus far.

Dragon Quest IV (NES emulator) - Most everywhere I've checked says this or VI is the best one in the series, so I'm going to check them both out one at a time. I'm still on chapter one (I started it yesterday, give me a break!), but I'm impressed so far. This seems to be an excellent RPG by NES standards. I'm very interested inDQVIII, since Level-5's co-developing it with some Square-Enix personnel and I think that has some amazing potential.

You're not alone, Laszlow. happy.gif

So I just started a game on Tales of Phantasia. Amazing game. 'nuff said.

Diablo II, of course.

Still FFT. I got myself stuck in a pretty huge hole. I'm in the battle where Ramza fights what's-his-name alone, which wouldn't be a big problem except for the fact that my Ramza sucks. He was a Calculator for like a year and a half, so he's slow as heck and has no stats or applicable skills to use. Basically, I hafta kill him in a single hit, since he goes first and kills me in two hits, regardless of what I do.

Possibly FFIX if I can ever find disk II.

Battletoads in Battlemaniacs.

I'm playing Final Fantasy 7 on the 3rd disc trying to beat ruby weapon and emerald weapon for the first time, got the Gold Chocobo for my first time.

Resident Evil 1 but not even past the first level or part or whatever you wanna call it (planning to go thru the whole series sooner or later)

World of Warcraft, which is so cool, I have a 34 Tauren Warrior, but my former game before World of Warcraft was Dark Age Of Camelot, where I had a 50 Mend/Aug Shaman, LGM SCer, 50 Norse Warrior (pimped), 50 Shadowblade, 50 Thane, 50 Spiritmaster, and a 50 Bonedancer.

but yea that's what I play happy.gif

I have a really difficult time focusing on merely one game, at times i'll play two or more at once, as a matter of fact.

Currently i'm working on;
Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits
Donkey Kong Country 2
Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
Shining Tears
Kirby Superstar
World of Warcraft
Ages of Despair
Diablo II
GunZ
Starcraft is always present on the list of course

And i'm halfheartedly working on a few others, but they aren't really worth mention.

Wow... this thread dropped to the second page....

Anyhow, I only have my GBA and my laptop here at school with me, in order to help remove distractions from school (doesn't stop me from playing Persona II and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night when I'm home, though). I'm still plenty distracted as it is, particularly since I'm going through a Dragon Quest phase.

Final Fantasy V (ZSNES Emulator) - This is my third playthrough on the game, and this time I'm trying to not leave anything out.

Dragon Warrior IV (FCE Ultra Emulator) - I'm impressed. This game seems better than Final Fantasy I - IIIj in most every way. I'm only on chapter 3, but I think I'm starting to see why practically every DQ game sells millions upon millions of copies in Japan, even through five remakes and countless spinoffs. If DQ VIII is as awesome as IGN says it is, I will definitely have to check it out.

Dragon Quest V (ZSNES Emulator) - This game is pretty derivative for an RPG, but it's quite fun. It basically feels like a bizarre combination of Final Fantasy IV and the Pokemon games (you wish I was kidding, but I'm not; I'm almost 100% sure now that elements of Pokemon were inspired by this baby) while maintaining that Dragon Quest flavor, plus I think it's the only DQ game where you get to name more than one character. I recently discovered that there is a Dragon Quest VI translation out there, so I'll have to tackle that once I finish this classic up.

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow (GBA) - I was perusing through my GBA game collection and noticed that I had only two 100% games on Hard Mode out of three possible slots. Insufficient. I think AoS is slowly and surely become my favorite GBA game and my second-favorite Castlevania game, though I wish the map was a bit bigger and Hard Mode was actually, you know, difficult.

It might seem like I'm doing a lot of gaming recently, but I'm not. I started DQ V over the summer and I'm maybe halfway or two-thirds done, I've been working on DW IV for around three weeks with little real progress, and I'm not quite done with the second of world of FF V at the moment. Aria's been going quickly, but only because I basically already know exactly where to go and what to do.

Edit
Botched the last paragraph in general.

I'm kind of playing Wild ARMs 3 again. In the near future, I'll probably do a game script for GameFAQs since the person who was doing it in July got sidetracked and wasn't doing it any longer. Fun western-themed game to waste my free time on. smile.gif
