Still in the middle (beginning, I think) of Odin Sphere, but I DID just get Final Fantasy Tactics and two Castlevanias (SotN and another that came with it) I'm pretty happy about. Fun 21st birthday present! : D

I just finished up a few games that I'd been meaning to beat for a long time.

FF3DS - REALLY enjoyed this once I got into it. Wished I had done so sooner.
Shadow Hearts: Covenant - Awesome system. The plot went all over the place in the second disc, though, and I don't think they actually knew what they were doing with it.
Suikoden 4 - I only beat this to get it off my list. I hate it and never want to see it again.

I'm trying to start Knights of the Old Republic for the first time but it continues to crash my computer. I may have to grab it off of Steam.

I can't believe it took me this long to play Dissidia. It is really, really fun. If a sequel came out tomorrow, I'd buy it.

Also, Bookworm Adventures. So many letters.

Beat Brütal Legend yesterday on Brütal. Going again, the game's ten million shades of awesome.

Have got to get back to Eternity's Child.

Almost forgot: Megaman 9. Yes, I'm late.

I've been having a recent surge of Xbox games. Assassin's Creed 2 is easily one of the best games I've played in a while. Everything I liked about the first game is there but it's expanded and the masses of additions somehow come together to make it really enjoyable. It's trying to do so many things at once and yet nothing feels like it could be missing and the overall game would be unchanged. To cap it all, it's actually witty.

We've also been dipping into Left 4 Dead 2 but like the first one we can't be bothered playing it for more than an hour a day. Still really good though.

And, of course, FFXII. I've lost my old saves so I felt the need to rush through the game to the end then systematically work through the hunts and rare game afterwards. Right now I'm stuck on Belias but he'll go down sooner or later.

I have a question for anyone that's played Fifa '10 (R51 and only R51). I've never really enjoyed Fifa games but I hear that this one is better than Pro Ev. What can you tell me about it? I've been out of touch with football games since Pro Ev 6 so I don't know which is the best now.

Between endless games of Dissidia, I've been mainly playing Guitar Hero 5, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and Brutal Legend.

I just finished playing Mass Effect 2. Absolutely brilliant, despite a few...minor glitches. I'll probably be playing it through again on a higher difficulty setting soon. And then again after that.

Left 4 Dead 2 with the CoN crew. Although we've had a bad few days, i'm optimistic that we'll go and kick some zombor ass tonight. Other than zombor, there's the occasional Synergy (Half-Life 2 co-op), Serious Sam, and although we haven't in a while, I keep insisting for some Unreal Tournament. Everybody loves Bombing Run.

I need to finish my Final Fantasy IV DS playthrough, as well. I put off getting this game for a long time because I didn't see much more than a port, but it really is excellent. Much more challenging than the GBA version, but nothing so insanely difficult. I think I'm about to head off to the Sealed Cave. I am not looking forward to Demon Wall.

Steam's Holiday Sale meant I bought a hell of a lot of games, most of which I haven't started playing yet, but a few I have. Half Life: Opposing Force, Beyond Good and Evil, Assassin's Creed. Oh, and i'm always going back to Mirror's Edge. I love that game. And then there's Garry's Mod. Does it count as a game? I don't know, but the sheer amount of shenanigans that can be performed means it's perfect for me.

Oh, and Dragon Age: Oranges.

Trying to finish writing for Left 4 Dead, but getting majorly sidetracked by Team Fortess 2 (360) -- even though it's pretty threadbare compared to its PC counterpart, it's still a crapload of fun. I have L4D2 and MW2 here but haven't really bothered too much with 'em, or in the former's case, at all. Future plans: get Mass Effect 2 and Red Dead Redemption, and maybe another airplane game (Ace Combat 6?) or PSX oldie, like Brigandine.

I've got a bunch of games I've left dangling for the time being, mostly because I don't have time to play, FFTA:2, DQ8, and FFXII being among them. I'm also in the middle of FFIV DS, which I've left because I'm coming up to one of those plot points that feels like if I don't get or do everything I need to get or do, I'm going to end up losing out on a bunch of stuff. tongue.gif

Also working on DQIV DS and Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time again as I've lost all my save files. x)

I just recently completed my annual play-through of Zelda 1, and I'm almost done with Zelda 2 (I just love how the final palace is an order of magnitude more difficult than the rest of the game!). Then I finally get to jump back into this millennium and start Assassin's Creed II.

I'm playing a little bit of Torchlight, and a lot of Dragon Quest III (GBC version). I want to get the number of DQ games I've beaten up to seven before IX comes out next month. When that happens, I'll probably be consumed for at least a month.

Also, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Otherwise known as "Monster Hunter, FU." Still a lot of that happening.

Isn't the SFC version of DQIII superior?

Yes, especially regarding enemy art and backgrounds. However, I like playing hard copies when I can get them, and I've owned a copy of DW III on the GBC for awhile now. I never even played it until I got the GBC version - the only DW games I owned on the NES back in the day were I and IV.

I'm really excited for DQ IX, though, because it's basically a refined version of DQ III, VI, and VII's class system that incorporates the quite awesome skill system from DQ VIII. I can see myself enjoying that setup MUCH more than VI's. The extremely robust character customization is another plus - I'm probably going to make a party of me and three of my friends as the main characters (sup ElPanachino).

Yeah, I'm very exited about IX as well. Though the only DQ games I have are IV, V (beaten both of those, epic stuff), VIII (if that's the PS2 one) and I've played DQIII. I'll probably get IX when it's released here (end of July) though.

I own an English-language copy of every DW/DQ game other than VI and IX (natch). I've beaten all of them except for III, VI, and VII. I had gotten about 70% done with VI on an emulated copy, but gave up on it and eventually lost the data. VI and VII are both loooong RPGs, and I lost patience with them when I had other games to play. I'll probably play through VI when the DS version comes out over here, and play VII when I've exhausted a few other gaming options out.

I'm a little disappointed in that DQ IX's multiplayer is local-only, because none of my friends that live near me are remotely interested in the game.

I finally beat DQ III. I played it and almost nothing else for about 10 days. It's a little archaic, but it's remarkably sophisticated considering it's well over 20 years old. Now the only games in the series I haven't beaten are the ones I don't own legally in English.

Now that that's over, I'll try and finish Torchlight soon and then get to work on some of my unfinished PS3 games. I'm looking at you, Uncharted 2 and BioShock....

I'd recently been running through the HD ports of Serious Sam First Encounter and Second Encounter with Mike and Tiddles. Now I'm finally playing all the way through American McGee's Alice, a game that I'd only sampled before but had wanted to play for ten years now for much the same reason as I want to eventually finish Bioshock - it's just so beautifully rendered (at least in concept and for the time).

I have been playing Mario Kart Wii and Final Fantasy VI advance at times, although I got bored and played MGS3 last night for a bit.

I've been contemplating on getting Ocarina of Time on Virtual Console if my paycheck is in and is a good amount today with work.

Starting tomorrow my life is going to be over, as I will be playing StarCraft 2 non-stop. I am a dedicated Blizzard slave through and through.

Although, while I've been waiting around, I have been doing a quite entertaining run-through of SNES games. I recently just beat Illusion of Gaia, Super Mario RPG, and Super Metroid again. Super Metroid in particular was pure unadulterated nostalgia. I'm currently playing NBA Jam (Tournament Edition obviously!) since I saw it at a local Game Craze for $9.99. Ten bucks for the best Basketball game of all time? Yes please.

This month I've mostly been doing 360 stuff:

- Red Dead Redemption
- ES4 Oblivion
- Grand Theft Auto 4
- Rainbow Six Vegas 2
- Orange Box
- Left 4 Dead 2

Tryin' to figure out what games to get for next month but to no avail so far. Might finally remember to use AmaCoN though, heh.
