This is a topic where you get to say who are your favorite squenix characters are it can a list of any size here is 20-10:

14. Sabin (FFVI) He is cool and his Blitzes Rawk!
13. Vivi (FFIX) Quiet, but cool, and he is a black mage (Which is good)
12. Edgar and Mog (Tie) (FFVI) Cool characters and have cool abititys and use spears!
11. Frog and Robo (TIE) (CT) cool C.T. characters with cool techs, and with Crono they can do triple raid.

10. Vivi - A lifeform engineered to be an engine of destruction who happened to be raised by a crazy floppy-tongued gourmand. Remarkably well-adjusted, considering.

9. Terra - Born to unite two worlds. Tough legacy to live up to, and she does it well, even if she winds up a little on the Whitney Houston side.

8. Auron - You gotta hand it to the guy, he keeps his promises. Regardless of how much whining he has to put up with.

7. Rydia - How do you bounce back from ultimate tragedy? By becoming a uberpowerful black mage and summoner, apparently.

6. Setzer - Rare is the guy that gets cheated, finds out about it, and goes along with it.

5. Zidane - A protagonist who doesn't stand around being stoic and saying very little. Makes supsect wardrobe choices however.

4. Cid (FF9) - A skirt chaser, yes, but also a guy who rolls his sleeves up and gets the job done no matter what weird animal he may be at the time.

3. Sephiroth - Actually had a decent plan which didn't involve destroying the world (at least not right away).

2. Tifa - Tough girl who deals with unreturned love a lot better than other FF characters.

1. Kefka - A villain who genuinely takes pride in his work and seems to enjoy it a great deal.

15. Serge (CC): Man did he have screwed up life or what.
14. Irvine (FFVIII): He may have been the only character from that game I liked.
13. Cecil (FFIV): Overcame his darkness and became a hero.
12. Frog (CT): Dude he was just plain cool, especially in his movies in the PSX version of the game.
11. Wakka (FFX): I could almost relate to the guy, except the accent.
10. Cid (FFVII): The best character of the game, I love the fact that a cigarette was never out of his mouth except when he celebrated.
9. Zidane (FFIX): Had my doubts about him but that scene when he snaps after being tortured is one of the greatest.
8. Marle (CT): Maybe the hottest female in any Squareenix game.
7. Yuna (FFX, FFX-2): Innocent girl one game, totally hot the next game.
6. Tidus (FFX): Having to kill your own father then disappear from the world, man that took some guts.
5. Crono (CT): Just the prototypical hero who had the balls of steel.
4. Kefka (FFVI): Gotta love him just based on his "son of a submariner" quote.
3. Auron (FFX): Man was he a bada$$, he made FFX.
2. Kain (FFIV): Kain made that game as well, it was nothing without him cause he was the most human of them all.
1. Locke (FFVI): The humor, the courage, the spirit of Locke ebigens (stole that from the Simpsons) every man. He had the best story of not only FFVI but of all games in my opinion.

i havent changed my avatar or anything in a long time! time for a change yall!

My favorites from the FFs I've played:

4 - Rydia - An insane powerhouse once you get her most powerful summons. She also develops more than any other character, and has and interesting "last summoner alive" tale.
5 - Faris - A cross-dressing pirate. What's not to love?
6 - Gau - An awkward boy self-raised in a field of monsters, who also just happens to have the best theme music and ability (psuedo blue magic with a twist) of any character ever.
7 - This is way too close to call. I'll have to go with a tie between Aerith, Red XIII, and Vincent. All emotionally touching, all with unique roles in the battlefield.
9 - Tough call, but I'd have to say Amarant. A mercenary who wants to learn about feelings is always badass, plus he has the coolest combination of special abilities EVER - throw + monk magic. An awesome warrior.
10. Wakka - Loyal, strong, and persevering. A brainwashed religious fanatic who can step back (after a LOT of convincing) and question what he's been taught to believe in. I see a lot of myself in Wakka, though I'm not quite the stud that he is, and I'd like to think I'm a bit more intelligent.

Hmm, this is a hard one. My opinion changes depending on what mood I'm in

Okay here is 10-1

10. Zidane, a very cool character (FFIX)
9. The baby chocobo in the black mage village (FFIX) I like chocobos
8. Gogo (FFVI) The power to have usage to everyones unique ability, and to know all magic of the party, + Mimic
7. Bahamut (FF Series) A cool summon with cool animation, and plus there is three diffeent versions of him in FFVII.
6. Odin (FF series, preferably FFIX) He was in one of the 3 best cinematics in FFIX, and he looked cool and is the coolest summon.
5. Terra (FFVI) An interesting main character, she is one of the best major characters.
4. Eiko (FFIX) She is a better Wht. Mage than Garnet, and she has Madeen.
3. Cloud (FFVII) Unexpecting, yes. His victory pose and limit breaks rawk! He is a well balanced Character.
2. Auron (FFX) The tightest FF Male character, cool overdirves. He kicked A--.
1. Rikku (FFX, not FFX-2!) She is very funny, and is an interesting FF CHaracter.

For Favs. I'd probably have to say...well first off,my user name should give you a little hint on who my all time fav is.Also...Edward must die!!!!!

I might be nitpicking here, but Squenix includes Enix characters as well (for the record, Squenix has more Enix than Square).

10. Cid Highwind (FFVII)- washed-up, gritty, smug, and doesn't take no for an answer
9. Cyan (FFVI)- romantic, aged, loyal, and refined, a true gentleman and knight
7.Cidolfas Orlandu (FFT) - he has "god" in his nickname, he weilds Excalibur, and he's a war hero
8. Freya (FFIX)- romantic at heart, but a strong independant woman, never doubting
7. Auron (FFX) - wise as he is tough, wise enough to let the new heroes journey their own struggles, a mentor
6. Squall (FFVIII)- stylish, but not a sissy,yet silent, strong, and smart. a man's man
5. Terry (DQ6) - deeper and tougher than Squall, violent, he walks around dragging a coffin for his next victim
4. Kain (FFIV)- the first bad good guy, true dragoon, and always the last man standing
3. Bahamut - this guy is never unrevered by game characters, bides his time waiting to obliterate you with his breath
2. Serge (CC) - nothing says "I'm screwed" more than losing your life, body, and friends for some stitch in time, and he's so nice about it
1. Ark (Terranigma) - he creates the world, how awesome is that? And to think, he does this to get what he lost, and never gets it back for real.
