I got this funky idea while creating monsters for Expert Version 2. Each monster below originally had 16 colors and I made most of the colors black. Your job is to identify the monsters. It's a team effort and I'm listing who solved what below. The difficulty varies but overall I hope they're not too easy or too hard. You don't need to identify the exact monsters... any one of their palette swaps are fine. Heck even descriptions are good if you don't know the names but know the monsters. Well let's give this a shot. There's a limit of 10 pics per post so I'll just link 'em all. The files are very tiny. With my 56k I uploaded 8 at a time in like 2 seconds. There are no repeated sprites.

I recognized these:

1. The little mice things with the snail shells you fight in the Narshe mines.
10. The first Ultros Sprite... right? >.>;
14. Ultros again. ^.^
23. A tank/truck thing? >>;
24. The boss that you fight in the mines after the Mag roader thingies.. with the left and right arms and the middle?


What makes this really hard is there is no judgement on the size of the imagebecause all of the black is the same.

Okay...

I think number one is Whelk (or Presenter's Head).
Number..8 looks to me like those aquatic enemies you encounter in the Serpent's Trench. The name escapes me.
Number 9 is definitely...DEFINITELY...a Mandrake or one of it's pallette swaps.
20 looks like a Red Dragon (or any other using the same sprite).
22 looks to me like Dullahan.

I really should know 18...but I can't think of it right now.

BTW, replace "Mandrake" with "Beakor". My mistake.
