Which of the slime/pudding/puff/tofu/etc. enemies is reasonably vulnerable to physical attacks? (By 'reasonably vulnerable' I mean it takes more than about 1 damage when hit with a typical non-elemental weapon attack.)

And speaking of those enemies, when pink puffs make you 'dance', what is the name of the music track that is played?

Which is it? Those two songs are different. I wasn't quite sure as to which song since it has been so long since I actually fought a pink puff.

Name of a monster: Then put the monsters it shares an avatar with here

U can just list them like the way i showed above, but if you have a different way, go ahead

(Note: you only have to list the first monster once, and you dont have to include its avatar in the other list after)

For example, certain types of rats, if it really was like this in ff4, may share an avatar

Example-----Rat: sewer rat, Tough rat, smelly rat, hairy rat, etc.

I believe by 'avatar' you mean a 'palette swap'--not a truly accurate term, but what I mean is the 'frame' that's given different colors to produce different enemies of the same 'group', such as (I'll give this one for free) Imp, Imp Captain, Dark Imp, and Tricker (IIRC).

Is that what you mean?

Doh! I knew I missed one from the slime family. How could have I left out Flan, it's my favourite custardy dessert.

This may be more of a Japanese question rather than a FFIV one, but here it goes.

Why are the colours of the "GingRyu" and "KingRyu" important to their name? The KingRyu isn't the king of the dragons. Drop a 'g' on both of them and....

This was something I've always wondered why they left in these particular Japanese names.

Is it so they could use kingryu as a basic enemy, but wanted a similiar name, so they just altered the first letter.

Also, they could be spelled or sounded closely in Japanese, so American translators simply changed one letter to help with the "identifying"

I know that ginryu is Japanese for silver dragon, so it's not a stretch to think kinryu would be gold dragon. Is this what you're looking for?

You fight two dragon zombie-looking things called D. Lunars, IIRC. I also remember that they were pretty much the easiest "ultimate equipment battle" in the Path to the Core.
