All hail Bahamut, King of the Dragons and God of the Summoned Monsters!!!

I personally like the idea of challenging him to a battle and having to win it, since he is usually a very powerful (if not the most powerful) summon, and you have to "prove yourself worthy" before he'll allow you to summon him.

*would worship Bahamut if there were an FF lore religion*

I challenge him whenever possible, it too gives me a feeling of worthyness, and if not more of a reason to train. GMH is right, he usually is the most powerful summon.

*Praises the god of summons* Lol ^-^

He hasn't been the most powerful Summon since V sad.gif (Didn't count VI, since Summons aren't useful). That's three out of eight games he's a summon in (eleven if he's in TA, X-2 and XI) sad.gif

He was the King of Dragons in I, God of Phantom Beasts in IV, and kinda just there in the others.

In order to have him obey you, you must prove your superiority.

wait... wasn't he the most powerful summon in IX. I'm almost positive he was. They even said so at the end of disk 2. Well, anyway, fighting him is the hardest, because like everyone says, you have to prove your worthy to him.

Nope. Ark and possibly Madeen beat him.
Edit
And Alexander, if you want to count him. I think it was Alexander they said that about at the end of Disc 2

Alexander layed the 5M4(KD0Wn!!! on Bahamut in in FFIX. And it was well deserved. Bahamut had spent so long on the top, he had become soft. He went off to train in the woods somewhere and hone his abilities. I spotted him there and was like "Yo! Bahamut! What's up!". He just roared at me.

i would much rather find him, due to the fact that in most FF games he is the UBER summon... and sad.gif it's almost always impossible to prove myself worthy....

Edit
Oh and bahamut is in FFX-2... the one game that i beat him on my first try thumbup.gif

I also prefer to fight him. I really like the way that he's this larger than life legend and is also intelligent in FF4, as opposed to just another creature in 6 and 7.

I enjoy fighting him more than anything else. His power is always nice...but he is never THE summon... there is something hidden stronger than him that you push Bahamust aside for say...Crusader or KOTR, althogh he is set to come to FF XI soon and will have to power he deserves! (and will be niegh impossible to attain)

I love the concept of fighting him. Showing you are worthy of such a powerful summon is an excellent way of obtaining said summon.

My favourite Bahamut would have to be the one from IX, appearance-wise speaking. The summon itself was cool, but I prefer older Bahamut summons, such as the three in VII.

I dunno about everyone else, but personally, I love killing a humungous boss, then being like, "Oh, I just found Bahamut. Cool." Then when you use him for the first time, you're like blink.gif. That's how I was in FFVII. I loved it.
