Ok there was a Rocky marathon on TV over the weekend so it gave me an idea. Which Rocky movie is everyones favorite. Personally I will have to go with the original, it was the best hands down everywhere. Rocky IV was a close second, the only reason that I did not like it as much as Rocky I was cause Mickey wasn't there and they had that commie bastard kill Apollo, he was one of the greatest characters in movie history.

The first most definitly. The only one that really comes close is part deux. With the exception of one or two other movies, these are the only ones Stallone was actually a good actor in. Mickey, Apollo, and even Paulie were all at there best in this movie. It didn't matter

Rocky IV is my favorite. The fight at the end is spectacular, with the crazy Russian being Rocky's toughest challenge in his life. The fight was so dramatic, since

the Russian dude killed Apollo without breaking a sweat.

It was a slugfest, and it seemed to be the match that ended Rocky's career, but it was worth the emotional and challenging fight.

My favorite was Rocky IV. Man, he finally gave that Russian what he had coming. Rocky V was absolutely horrible and never should have been made. So pointless and seemed thrown together the week before filming. The one good part was at the end where the Black promoter guy goes "Don't touch me or I'll sue you." And Rocky completely jacks him and says "For what?"

II was also really good. For a long while, I didn't even realize Rocky lost the first one. He's all "Adrian, I did it!" so.

Really like the first one. He's very subtle about things in the beginning, telling the audience that Rocky is pretty much a big time loser, stuck in the same town, no love life, no career for years to speak of, and so on. And of course, you gotta enjoy the tension between him, Adrian, and Paulie.

Also, they didn't make it ridiculous by having Rocky win against Apollo.

Rocky IV is just silly. Drago has the punching power of... something, and I looked up that number, and you know, that's enough to crush metal plates.

I've never seen a "Rocky" film, so I'll null vote. My favorite Rocky is the one who used to be a mod here. When he gets pwnt by Rangers, he gets pwnt really good.

I think they're all good except for 5 which I haven't seen, but part I is definitely a classic. The final fight was the highlight for me, but it wouldn't have been half as compelling if it didn't have a subtle and meaningful story told before it happened. Give Stallone credit, some people think he's rather stupid but he wrote that great script himself.

I DIDNOT like any of the Rocky's...I don't really care for Stallone...he's short lol.
