Yes In the Spirit Of Hating Things ive started the Anti Kingdom Hearts Alliance. I TRULEy Hated the concept of this game. Its Horrible. Disney Mixing With FF is like Mixing Pepsi With Poison. I though the battle system was A Nice Touch(-Except Fighting With A Key. Why?) But I went with choice 7

I really liked the game, the only thing I think most people saw wrong with the game was Sephiroth being voiced by a backstreet boy. Other than that it was a pretty great game, Square and Disney seems like a far better combination than Square and Enix, to me at the time being at least. You want to hate something, hate the guy that came up with the idea for mentos commercials

I thought it was an excellent game. The only problem with it I have is the disney theme of the game. That really set the game back in my opinion. You don't get to visit one actual final fantasy world, but you get the pleasure of visiting the Little Mermaid's world and listening to the music. Bleg. The only Disney place I thought was kind of neat was The Nightmare Before Christmas place. And that got old pretty quick.

Also every time the game would get a little emotional Donald or Goofy would do or say something stupid. Like "No sad faces". 'Bout the only time they didn't do that was at the very end of the game. I'm guessing they were going for comic relief but it didn't work.

It also bothered me that you don't get any of the FF characters on your team, even for a little bit. Instead you get the lame-ish Disney characters that aren't worth your time to level up. And Donald and Goofy aren't a lot of help either.

The most dissapointing part of the game for me was where Cloud got knocked out by Cerebus and Hercules came to the rescue. BALONEY!!! If Cloud can take on Sephiroth, who is in the game, then he should be able to kick a three-headed dogs butt. Especially since Sora can handle it.

I would think the best improvement they could make for the next KH is to remove the Disney stuff and put more Square, and maybe some Enix, stuff in. The Disney characters don't make the game bad but they kinda lame it up. I know its part of the whole theme thing they've got going for the game, but I would like it if they weeded as much Disney stuff out of the second one as possible.

Heh. I might say its a good game, but I sure don't talk that way about it.

I Thought it was an excellent idea, I'm not a little disney-loving child, but it was a very unique Idea. If we all say no to ideas we don't like, then companies will continue to milk old titles, and we end up with 0% innovation. It was a brilliant attempt that brought out every emotion. I also loved this game. The battle system was awesome. One of the few things I didn't like was the system to learn magic. Also, I liked having Lance Bass voice Sephiroth. It was fun beating the s**t out of him.

well, i played the game until i got to the alice in wonder land level and got stuck. It didn't really interest me too much. It was fun and all and i liked the characters, but it just didn't crab my attention like so many people said it would.

I liked the game even thought there were no FFIX character whiched REALY sucked badly. I would have liked to see Zidane and some other character from FFIX. It was a good game but it was a bit to short. Even though I spent 80 hours on the game at least 30-50 of them were training to get to level 100. I still sold the game though.

I wished death upon this game. keyholes. how rideculoS. but cloud was cool in the game. but squall WASNT. Neither was any of the other characters..except cloud

Cloud and Yuffie are only enemies in the battle arena, elsewhere, they are allies. And when does one EVER fight Cid as an enemy? Also, Seph was originaly an enemyu, so why does making him one in this game come as a surprise/disapointment?

I Gate the IdeaeOf Cloud And Sephiroth Getting Beaten by some little pu*k that hangs out with Goofy and Donald Duck. He Fights with a Key. I Dont care. He loses. Death to him. Death and More Of it. Disney HAB NO PLACE WITH FINALFANTASY! The fact that Sephiroth is voiced by some Boy Band wanna be astronaut makes me sick. T|at Game demeaned Square. I feel Slighted and lost alot of respe&t for tye company.

I don't know but there was something about that game that I loved. I beat it twice once on normal and once on expert. It kinda just grabbed my attention but I also think the battle system was awsome. I really liked it.

And how do you beat sephiroth he was the only guy i could not beat.

I really liked this game, truley touching, (And i know im gonna catch hell from all the Anti KH ppl for that one) But when ya think about it if KH really wasn't that great, would they be making a sequal to it? But using that to support my opion would be really pathetic, so i won't. I've beaten the game on easy, and just about on hard, (Not bad for just renting lol) I kept trying to buy it but it was sold out like everywhere o.o the only thing that confused me, (and still does confuse me) is what is up with Cloud's sword? Are those bandages or what? My only guess is that he busted up the blade smacking Sephiroth around in FF7, but then again.... Who actually uses the buster sword against Sephiroth? Lol, whoa, that would seriously add difficulty to the game...

I've never played it, and i never will, for the following reasons:
1)- it dont look too good
2)- what kind of name is 'Sora'? is it some horrific misspelling of 'sorta?' is he sora, er, sorta, stupid?
3) the heartless thingies look a little like Black Mages, dont they? Mages rule too much for kill...

Well, I was not going to get Kingdom Hearts at all, but now I think I might splash out on the sequel when it's released here, and if I like that the first game. I have no idea which boy band guy you're talking about, but I hope Sephiroth's voice is good. And Yuffie's. I loved Yuffie....
And Wakka. I loved Wakka...

The storyline seems a little stupid to me though. I agree, Disney meets Final Fantasy is probably really stupid - but I guess it's innovative and if there are so many heavy opinions on this game I ought to get it.

I didn't mind the disney theme, loved the battle system, loved the extra bosses, and loved the worlds. The only part of this game I couldn't stand was the gummi ships, but other than that, it was an excellent game, and I will get the sequel when it comes out. It's really tough to find a good adventure these days.

I have mixed feelings about this game.


It was interesting... I kinda liked the battle system.

I played through the game untill I got to the arena, the one where Cloud is an enemy. I wasn't high enough level, and the one thing that bugged me prior to that game, was the little ship to fly between planets. I figured after I made the run once, it wouldn't make me go through it again.

After having to fly in the spaceship back to the former world to level up a bit, and then learning I had to fly it back to the arena world, I turned off the power, returned the game to whom I borrowed it from, and never looked back. I didn't care for the game after that...

I HATE that spaceship thing... it's boring, and as far as I could tell in the game up to that point, it had no relevance to the game... AWFUL....

UUMMM...I am a disney fan to an extent...I think they have made alot of great movies...maybe that sounds bad but they are pretty cool to me...although I didn't realy like the idea of Disney and FF it was still a god game they just should have concentrated on Final Fantasy a little more...and personally I thought Cloud should have been the main character although I'm sure there will never be another game with him as the main character (about the closest we'll get to that is Advent Children when it comes out).Also I would have liked to have had the turn based fighting style (technically FF7 wasn't turn based it was time based...if you never chose an action the enemy would continue to molly whop you till' your death).But anyway I think I''m gonna have to say that I loiked Kingdom Hearts alotalthough not as much as I had expected.

Also one other thing to shut all of you up about who Lance Bass is...I just asked my girlfriend and Lance Bass is not a BackStreet boy!!! He's from Nsync.(not that it's any better)

There were a few errors in the game, they misspelled Rikku. And the The same for Aeris. It is a good game, but it can be hard at some points, like fighting Squall and Cloud by yourself later in the game, I considered them the tag-team from Hell, becuse they annoyed me constanlty.

I would say that's kinda close minded of you...you can't expect everyone to share your opinion...you're just making yourself sound like a whiney baby to me...you probably don't like the game because you suck at it.

Well Riku was a guy in this one and Rikku was a girl in FFX so I wouldn't exactlly say that's a misspell and as another topic discussed about the name Aeris and Aerith...whether it's Aeris or not in the english versions the Exact translation from Japanese to english (Japanese being the language the game was made in) it translates to Aerith...so Aerith was actually not an Error...although we aren't sure if Aeris was an error either.I think it was but others think both could be used.

Yeah, in this game, Riku was an entirely new character (In Jimminys notes, it woulda said if it were supposed to be Rikku from 10. And Aerith was the original name, which some fanboys discovered. And complained. And complained. so now we have Aerith instead of Aeris.

I personally dislike Disney, so it would annoy me to fight against Square characters which I identify with more. I won't play it based on this, but I still respect it in some small way because I have friends who recommend it.

Honestly, I disliked the game enough that I didn't finish it. The repetitive nature of the battle system was probably the biggest turnoff.

I personay liked the game but at first i didnt cuz of the thought of being allied with Disney Chars which had really made me mad cuz cid couldn't swear cuz there were disney chars in it so they would make the disney chars look bad but none th less i liked the game and the graphics and the ABS (Active Battle System) and the fact that the game as quite long, that impressed me.
