Hey everyone what is your Opion of FFX,
Was it good, thumbup.gif
Was it bad, thumbdown.gif
My opion of FFX is that it was an absolutly great game lots of surprizes and the graphics were greatly evovled from the FFIX graphics. The game was so awsome that I talked about it all the time.

Things I didn't like:
- Couldn't really bring myself to sympathize with either Tidus or Yuna. The former is almost intolerably whiney and childish, the latter is almost painfully naive. At least Yuna had a goal in life though.
- I thought the sphere grid system a bit contrived, personally.

Things I did like:
- I like the combat engine, a little bit reminiscent of Tactics (although without an actual battle grid).
- Blitzball, although I understand that a lot of other pople find it tedious.

Overall I liked the game, definitely thought it was worth playing. Not sure about playing it multiple times though.

I loved FFX it was the best FF game made since FFVI. Characters like Tidus and Auron and the plot twist in that was great. Of course the sequal was not that good since it had neither two but it was still good. FFX is a great game.

i loved everything but the really confusing storyline. i mean i beat the game i watched to all the movies and i still dont fully get it!!! i mean **spoiler** i dont feel like hitting the buttoin so i ll be quiet. Yeah i loved the combat and all of the trillions of different items and side quests. I have all celestial weapons except one!!! Lulu's i dont want to dodge 200 lightnings lol! i got Khimaris boy was that a pain. everyone else was easy. Auron and Tidus, and Wakka were just time consuming everyone elses were simple! Love SphereGrid. Half of my chars are maxed out and used everyones grid. most have 255 str and agility. then you just haste and quick hit and pretty much kill anything. maybe its because i spend 137 hours on it i am really good. And what makes me mad there is still stuff i have to do. here is a list:

1. Dark Aeons
2. Beat Nemesis
3 Get all the items at Raemen Temple
4. Max out all chars and aeons.
5. Get lulu's celestial weapon
6. max out blitzball team to lvl (99), {right now im at level 56 or something higher by 20 then most teams}
7.i thin thats all i have to do.
8. one more thing i have to get every person break hp/mp limit armor. so far i have only 1 and a half of those!

lol my tidus has 22000 hp and 2000 mp. i crack up man i wanna play right now.

Cons - I like the thought behind the concepts they tried to introduce in X, like voice acting and the battle system, but I don't think either worked well. The voice acting was ridiculous (though hearing Frye play Tidus and Bender playing Khimari and Wakka was awesome) and I like the ATB more. The plot, while very good in and of itself, had WAY too many parallels to VII.

Pros - I really like the sphere grid. It's an inventive way to level up, and is a refreshing change of pace from every other RPG ever made. I also like Blitzball, once you get past the first 2 or 3 games. The characters were really good too, if a bit cliched at times.

Overall, I liked it. It's not my favorite FF of all time (or even my second or third favorite), but it's an excellent RPG in and of itself.

On a side note to RAC, you got Khimari's ultimate weapon but not Lulu's? Mine is the other way around. Khimari's is the only one I don't have. That butterfly thing is insane.

I hate the way the main characters look which turned me off right away. As I watched my brother play I came to the conclusion that the game is all about graphics and little more. Even the characters have cliché personalities based on their teen punk appearances (didn't we see enough of this in FF8?). Does this game offer anything unique at all? On the surface the game is geared to impress but if you get rid of the fancy graphics what do you have? A below average FF game. There's not even a world map. dry.gif Heck, even the worst FF games have a world map. The battle system in FFX is overly complicated as well. It doesn't seem to add much to the gameplay, but rather it seems more like a tool used to spruce up the game's wow factor. Perhaps I'm not being fair to the game by not playing it but from what I've seen and heard from other people it doesn't seem worth the time.

I didnt care much for the characters, cept for Rikku, gotta love the spunky kid. (Then y did yuffie look so bad?) But as for the other things. The Battle system was cool, i liked knowing exactly when my turns were so i could plan and such. Blitzball was pretty good but i think there should have been more mini-games. the characters with voices was a nice touch however.

Blitz ball is the best thing about FFX. And Tidus has some of the coolest weapons. And at least Yuna can do some of the original summons but isnt worth much else.

Overall FFX is a great game! thumbup.gif

FFX is one of the two best FF's there is. I still can't decide which is better: FFX or FFIX. It was a good deep game. I am still not bored of the game (After 120+ hours). It is addicting, Blitz Ball is a cool minigame, it is a fun game.

I loved FFX. It had its low points, sure, but overall I had a great time playing it. I think it falls too often under the scrutiny of so-called "purists" who believe that just because Final Fantasy VI was the best of the series, every "modern" 3-D FF has to suck. And that's just not true. Even if the game was crap, I'd say that the ending alone is worth the playing time.

Right, graphics, forgot about that. Yeah the graphics were pretty good. Compared to the fact that im using a playstation 1 (a crappy one at that its so old!) the graphics are a large improvment. The movie scenes were pretty awsome

I thought it was pretty good...although I did think that there was to much movie and not enough game play...I think that all went to crap when Enix showed up...anyway I still thought the game was good...but not even close to being my fav...they could have made Tidus less of a whimp.

I thought FFX was a great game.

I love the sphere grid, which most people seem to dislike, and I thought the characters were great. I'm a little confused about

some things involving Auron, still. He's a great character, but certain parts about him being unsent and such made no sense. The first time Tidus sees Yuna perform a sending, he is told that the unsent will haunt and disturb their love ones if they were to stay. However, Auron seems to be the same unsent and dead as he was alive. Why didn't he change, because he had a goal? But what if the other unsent had goals, too?
.

I'd probably play it again, if we still had it. I played it through about 3 times already.

I really enjoied the game! It made me laugh every once and a while because of Tidus's cocky attitude and Lulu's trying to be stern with everone. It was kinda difficult at first and by the end tehre were still things that i didn't get {cough sphere grid cough} and the god forsaken blitz ball... but i really did like it alot.

Great game. Although I haven't played FFI - VI it still ranked up there as a good game. Isn't close to beating FFVII though. I really liked the varios character developments. Even near the end of the game there were a couple of things the story left you to figure out. I like that. Otherwise the ending KICKED!!

Also the sphere grid was totally unuiqe, and it is fun to try and fill up the grid. The battle system was cool, especially because it was turn-based. I liked that to. Voice-overs gave the game a new feel, sometimes adding more depth to their emotion

Blitzball po'd me majorly, haven't played it since. Other side-quests were cool.

Graphics, drop it. Doesn't really matter. Storyline is muchmore important to me. Otherwise, they were the best i've ever seen, probably ever will see.

Overalll: 8 out of 10 Worth playing
