What i wanna know is, have u played this game? and what do u think of it?
Personally, i love this game. my first experience with it, was a few days ago in lunch when my friend brought in a gamecube (with the screen) and he showed me what it was like. I feel in love with the game. I immediatly loved the character designs (they remind me of FF9) and the music, which is very upbeat for the most part. At first however, i didn't like the battle system too much. Regardless i went to the mall after school and purchased the game. I took it home and started playing it. After about an hour i had fallen in love with the battle system. In my mind, this game is best played if u forget the prefix of "final fantasy" because really, its not a FF game. I highly recomend this game to anybody who enjoys the zelda franchise or wants a fresh take on Action rpgs. its awsome ![]() -------------------- <Nealio> Seymour sounds like evil Winnie the Pooh |

Hated it. You're right; it's not a Final Fantasy game. GameCube screwed it up. I liked the cartoonie-nesh of FFIX, but looks like Nintendo can't quite get it right. After proof playing it, they should definetly have taken the prefix off. That niggles at me, and I sincerely empathize for those who always preffered Nintendo to Playstation, bought this, liked it and think of it as a real FF.

Loved it, great game, great idea. My friend and I even got 2 GBA's so we could play it together. The game is much better with a freind, btw. Even though one of you has to be the servant and carry around the chalice.

Crystal Chronicles is the Final Fantasy game released by Square for the GC, it plays similar to Zelda

I'm still up in the air. I love the graphics and music, they almost make it fun to play on their own. The battle system is getting on my nerves, though, as spells basically aren't very useful, except for cure, which is way too useful. The ease with which you can cast it basically ensures that you can't die, unless you run into too many bad guys before someone drops it. I don't like that you don't get to keep any spells, and only one treasure, when moving on from a dungeon. I like the multi-player idea, but unfortunately, I'm the only one in my apt. with a GBA, so I can't use it.

I enjoy it but certainly not like other FF games. I agree that it should not be considered a Final Fantasy game, the only thing that might make it is the enemies (i.e. Marlboro, tonberrys).

I don't know much about it but it doesn't look all that great so I'm gonna wait till it drops from it's current price of $50 to anout 20 before I buy it.

Personally, FF:CC is fun. Though, Single player is repetitive. I haven't played the multiplayer yet, which I hear is fun. It sucks: You need gameboys to play multiplayer. They really screwed up in doing that. They just wanted people to buy GBAs which means more money for them.
Anyway... FF:CC has pretty nice graphics. And the music in CC... It's most excellecent!! I love the soundtrack. Great songs. FF:CC is a different type of FF. I wish they'd just go back to making FF games like FF7, ff6, etc. I hate all the new stuff, FFX, FFX-2.. ![]() |
