If you have a resumé what do you have on there for special skills? If you don't have a resumé, what would you put if you did? There seems to be quite a few computer gurus around here among other things. How worthy are you for the workforce?

Quote (i90east @ 20th April 2004 15:59) I was kinda wondering if was legit to put HTML and CSS on there. They are two different kinds of code right? I've been working with this code a lot lately so I threw it on there. I'm borrowing this comment from elsewhere, but if you're not sure that HTML and CSS are in fact very different, perhaps you shouldn't be putting them on your resume. ![]() Kidding aside, here is what I have on my resume. Platforms Windows 3, 95, 98, ME, 2000, NT, XP Mac OS 7, 8, 9, X Software Packages Adobe Photoshop 5, 5.5, 6, 7 Adobe Illustrator 9, 10 QuarkXpress 4 Adobe Pagemaker 6.5 Microsoft Office 97, 2000, XP Microsoft Internet Explorer Mozilla Firebird Macromedia Dreamweaver 2, 3, Ultradev Macromedia Flash 4 JASC Paint Shop Pro CuteFTP Fetch WS_FTP I don't know my typing speed or any of that, so I can't add it. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

Put anything relevant. Can you speak two languages? That helps. Are you certified to perform First Aid? That is really good to have when working in service.

Can effectively use the internet, email (both webbased and POP3), html, WordPerfect (up to the latest update), Adobe Photoshop 6.0, and others. Skilled typist, and adaptable to different types of computers and programs. Languages - Bilingual (English and French) This post has been edited by Elena99 on 21st April 2004 01:27 -------------------- I had an old signature. Now I've changed it. |
