I was just reading ur list of weapons and armors and noticed something. I was playing FFIV PSone version last night and was fighting Ogres.... and found an item not listed under ur armband and gauntlets area... it was called Zeus. So I was interested in learning whether there are other types of weapons and armors that not listed in your section but can be found throughout the game and whether or not anyone knows whom you have to beat in order to retrieve these items.....

It is called the Giant's Gauntlet in the FAQ.
It is Giant in J2E, but Zeus in IIus. I don't know about PSX.
