Well, let's start at the beginning...how are you trying to install it? Are you using an emulator and a ROM? I'd need a little more info before I'd be able to help here.

CDs?
Are these disks for the Sony Playstation or are they CD-Rs with an emulator program plus FF6 rom burnt on them?

If these are the Final Fantasy Anthology (FF5 &6) CDs for the Playstation, then you do not need to install them. Just put the FF6 disk into the Playstation and
wait for the game to load.

What is the name of the program that you are trying to install?

Err... you don't install PS CD's on a computer, and if you're talking emulator and ROM... well, you got ripped off pretty bad, since finding the ROM and emulator on the web for free is no harder than using Pummel. You shouldn't have had to pay one cent.

If you are talking PS CD's (Collection, Anthology, or the European release) and you don't have a Playstation, you need a PS emulator. You can find those free too, but you better have some kind of 3D graphics card....

But what about putting it in the wrong forum, too? Did you mean to READ FFXI as well?

Read?
Just replace FFVI with FFXI. Same thing still applies.

Moderator Edit
No, no, you see, when the topic is about FFXI, we don't post it in the FFVI forum. Because, you know, V is a five and X is a ten. But, whatever, hope you get your game installed! -R51
