Ok, I'm in a bit of a jam on FFX-2. I'm in Chapter 3, and doing the side quest in the Calm Lands where you

, he used his Zanmato and gets me down on one HP, then lets his dog rip me to pieces. If I -had- followed a guide and got the Alchemist dressphere, I would be able to use one of my unlimited stock of Mega Potions, but I didn't.

So I need to find a lot of Mega Potions. After a lot of searching around I deduced the only way I can get my hands on them is to seek out the monster known as the Everything Eater, I think it was....or the All Eater or something. You can steal Mega Potions from it, and it's the only monster in the game that you can. Luckily, you can find it in Chapter 3 in the Calm Lands, but I have no idea where. I've checked as many places as I can to find this elusive creature, but at the moment I'm stumped. So I guess my question is....

Does Anyone Have Any Idea Where I Can Find This Monster? Thanks in advance.

I don't know about that part, but, here's how I beat him:

Have two white mages, who have a good amount of cure spells. If you have accessories like Iron Bangle (heightens HP), put it on them. Have your third person (maybe Paine) be a fighter type, like Warrior. Anything where she is powerful. Have her be the attacker, and one of your white mages do the regular heal, while the more powerful white mage does the bigger portions of healing.

Also, if you have haste, use that. Good luck!

If you still have trouble, go wander off somewhere and beef up the dresspheres.

i beat him real easy,

provided you have the machina maw dress sphere then train it up, use the unerring path and put the sphere changes off to speed up things, then just use its high hp as a fall back, keep having the side peices heal rikku even if she isnt damaged in case the worse happens, and have her use vajara, oh and if u culd use sumthing to add to her strength of the attack that wuld be great and ull find him easy after that!

Go ahead and equip anti-poison accessories. You should have one or two different double prevention accs that have poison as one, and also up your stats. Also, if u have the dark knight dress sphere, get poisonproof. That really helps alot I found (mostly for when your down to 1 hp).

And there I was frozen, standing in my backyard
Face to face, eye to eye, staring at the last star
I should've known, walked all the way home
To find that she wasn't here, I'm still all alone
