How do I go about making an IPS patch of the ROM I've edited?

I've made a neat one that I've called Final Fantasy 6 - Shiva's Quest. In it, I've replaced Celes (in all aspects) with Shiva, the Esper that escaped from the Empire. I've also made appropriate changes to make the in-game Esper Shiva's mom, Shiv. I've also replaced some equipment with Shiv's equipment:

Excalibur - Shiv's Soul
Force Shld - Shiv's Crest
Cat Hood - Shiv's Tiara
Force Armor - Shiv's Plate
Beads - Shiv's Ring

With it, she is insanely powerful, but I'm working on making it difficult to get it all.

In addition to changing things to involve Shiva rather than Celes, I've also fixed up a few dialogue errors, monster names, spell names, and equipment names:

Pug - Tonberry
Mad Oscar - Malboro
Atma Weapon - Ultima Wpn/UltimaWeapon (Boss/Weapon, respectively)
Pearl - Holy
Blow Fish - 1000 Ndls

Let me know what you think of the idea.

Download SNESTool and you can make a patch with that. Your project is similar to the various ones listed on Zophar's SNES hacks page. So how does the Shiva sprite look?

The Shiva sprite is a simple rip of the Terra Esper. I made her body blue and her hair green; it's the same color palette as Celes and the same scheme that's used for the in-game esper that you fight at one point.

I realize it's similar to some of the other hacks; I basically got the idea from them.

Now, I'd like to include the CzarDragon (I've renamed it Shinryuu), but I'm not sure where a good place to do so is.

One more thing, how do I change weapon graphics? I'm assuming there's a program for doing it, but where would I find it?

By the way, I think the correct name for Mad Oscar is Marlboro, the same name as the cigarette brand.

For weapon graphics, I'd guess that there are some sprite editors you can use to change the colors of various weapons' sprites, but I personally don't hack ROMs, so I don't know what they are and if they exist.

Oh GMH you misspelled Malboro, it is spelled Malboro not Marlboro.
