i've got another use for the sp, sometimes when my family goes on vacation or something, and i want to read in the car, but my dad dosn't want the dome light on, i'll flip my GBAsp on w/o a game and use it as a reading light, it works quite well.

Yes, it does make a good long life flash light. It could save a spelunker's life!

Yeah...usually I just use mine for a lamp or something but other than that I can't really think of something I could use it for...I think I used it to check the oil on the dipstick in my car once lol.
