Just wondering what your favorite Fianl Bosses are out of the FF series. I've enjoy playing against Neo X-Death, Kefka, Zeromus, and Sephiroth. So what are you favorite final bosses?

Kefka and Sephiroth.
All the other bosses didnt strike me that hard. For example, Necron. You meet him at the very end, theres nothing built up for him. -------------------- Yeah, I barely post. |

Sephiroth or Sin! Bad-ass, mo-fo!
Kuja - girly Kefka - girly Ultimicia's GF - pops up from nowhere Sephiroth - bad ass, mo'fo' with a cool 8-inch katana. Plus, his battle was hard. First Bizzaro Sephiroth, then Angel Sephiroth then Sephiroth. Three bosses in a row. Challenging! Sin - a gargantuan legend monster wreaking havoc upon the world. No personality - just a huge mo'fo monster. Ace, although he technically wasn't the final boss. And wtf...Yu Yevan? Where did he even come from? He wasn't an enemy in the story was he? -------------------- "Luck is my middle name. Well that question can be answered very loosely, in terms of character and just sheer hatred I LOVED to HATE Kefka and Sephiroth. They were brilliant characters, each psychotic and sadistic. They added the majority of flavor to each of the stories, and the final battle with each of them are memorable. As for the best final battle, in my opinion, would be the final battle with Zeromus in FIV and this is why:

Without a doubt, it would be Kefka. The entire final battle sequence was just amazing. Here is a short list of reasons why:
1: First of all, the music ("Dancing Mad") was incredible. 2: The first three tiers were very well done--their brooding, dismal coloring really added to the feeling of desperation. 3: Fallen Angel Kefka! Shifting from the dark, evil looking tiers to a backdrop that consisted of the sun shining through golden clouds while Kefka himself posed in an almost Renaissance-esque fashion. 4: Kefka himself. Kefka, in my opinion, is by far the best villain to ever grace a final fantasy. He was a purely malicious, arrogant, and psychotic individual. Years after completing FFVI, he is still my favorite character of the series (this includes party-members!). -------------------- Je ne t'aime plus, Mon amour... What Stephen the Third said, with minor changes:
1) The coloration of the third tier (as well as the music) began the irony of kefka's "brightness". That was done extraordinarily well. 2) Kefka isn't my favorite of all FF characters, but he is most certainly (by my judgement) the best-designed villain of all time. He is blatantly cruel and evil, yet somehow he manages not be boring or stereotypical. Bravissimo, Square! I especially liked the Lucifer allusion (the Fallen Angel/Fallen One). Others: Yes, I know these aren't actually "final", but they're close enough, since Queen Zeal has Lavos's power, and Exdeath is simply reincarnated (and given a few crazier lines) into NeoExdeath. Queen Zeal (CT): The only other villain who can come close to Kefka in being evil. She's one of the most vile archenemies I've seen in a Square game, complete with crazed plot at world domination/destruction and a kickass Black Omen. Plus, her final form is really cool, and she counts (according to the music) as a Legendary Enemy! Exdeath: Although he does act like a stereotypical villain, he has his well-done points, such as weird ways of deceiving/trapping/screwing over the protagonists. But the main thig about him that makes the battles against him so exciting and memorable is his battle theme, which kicks so much arse it ranks second (in unique battle themes) only behind Kefka's Dancing Mad. -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. Well, considering how most of our posts should be in spoilers, I'll do that.
My favorite is the boss from FFIV mainly because of play value. Possible spoilers: highlight to view Plus, it was kind of interesting how this ultimate evil was born from the death of the previous evil. That "coming out of nowhere" thing was done best in this game. My next would be the boss from FFI. Possible spoilers: highlight to view He turned out to be the original one who started your series of quests, and you ended up where it all began My least favorite was FFVII. Possible spoilers: highlight to view Sephiroth's only appeal was appearance. He went psychotic for such a minor reason. Not only that, you spend the game hunting him, even though it really wasn't him -------------------- "I had to write four novels before they let me write comic books." -Brad Meltzer |

FFI's boss has definitely been the hardest. I liked the fact that...
Possible spoilers: highlight to view you got to fight the same boss, as DP said, from the beginning |

Even thought they eplained Yevon's presence... but definetly, the best was Possible spoilers: highlight to view Kefka.
