it looks cool, what's it supposed to be? I can only recognise the characters and Final Kefka. Is that a giant turnip?

Talk about a major spoiler. (This comment was made before Neal's edit) Yep, these sorts of images have been around for a while. The artwork is very well done, and it's always fun to progress up the tower with the changing music.

I havent seen stretched images like that one before. It looks very good. So who made it?

Yeah, I barely post.

I didn't do this one, but I've done it before. It does look really cool. I don't know exactly what it is, but the middle figures are called "Tiger," "Tools," "Magic," "Hit," and "Girl." "Tiger" and/or "Hit" seem to correspond with Sabin, "Magic" and/or "Girl" seem to correspond with Terra and/or Celes, and "Tools" seems to correspond with Edgar.

Very strange.

Okay: standard names for the tier enemies:
Tier 1: short arm/left hand, long arm/right hand, head
Tier 2: Tiger, Hit (weird blue dude), Tools (girl in the middle), Magic (???? at the left)
Tier 3: Girl (although I prefer the name Bust), Sleep

Edit: A occasionally-used (although non-standard) method of referring to the tiers is Alpha, Beta, and Gamma. Therefore, the "Tools" would be called Beta Tools, and the "Sleep", Gamma Sleep.

That is the last battle. you start at the bottom of the tree, destroying the things growing off it. it is actually not a tree but a vertical line of enemies. very cool effect, if you ask me. the top one is beautiful. not Kefka, the one right before him. Kefka's angel is beautiful too, though.

I havnt played ff6 in al LONG LONG LONG Time, and i forgo that he has a head in his hand
and that guy at the top looks like a... edgar sort of

I just beeat the game again!!!... but when i look at yiu ppl's hp i think "whoa" cause my highest hp was 2944 or sumthing like that (excluding shadow whos hp + mp were 9999/999)

Cool! Beautiful! Supreme work of art! That was a really neat picture.

I still like to think that the three "statues" standing on eachother before Kefka is "The monument of non-existance", although it's not proven at all.

That's what I always called it too, considering he raises it out of the ground and the battle commences...

I call it Kefka's monster obelisk or monster tower (not to be confused with Kefka's Tower). These names come from a friend of mine who is also an FF6 fan.

Oh, so whe are saying what we think that thing is? I call it "THE DEFORMED HUMAN TOWER" cause it looks like it.

Man I can Still Rmember the First time i beat the Game. It was A cold winters Day and I was 7. At that point id already had beaten FF4 at the Humble Age of 5.(Ouch Dark Shadow, Beaten It yet?) Then I got to the Kefka Battle,I was Like,"Whoa When Is this Gonna End" I remember each Tier as I sat there Glued to The Screen, Adrenaline Pumping...THose were the Days. The Innocence of a Child. That was the Last time I felt like that. Then i saw this Picture and for a brief moment felt it come back.

I just loved the fact that there was the transition from darkness and despair to an angelic, scintillating backdrop with Kefka in his fallen angel form.

I'm not going to lie, when I first played the game I did not expect that to be his final form at all. As I fought my way higher and higher up on the "monster obelisk" I was expecting the dark, gloomy backdrop and boss design to continue. Then, all of the sudden I was treated to the sun shining through golden clouds and Kefka, looking almost as if he were some Renaissance painting, smiling arrogantly at me while holding out his hand in an almost beautiful angelic form. Imagine my surprise.

Oh well back on the point. teh last time i fought the top part of the tower ( not kefka) the girl head thing looked exactly like a celes in chains prites but its petrified. when i attacked it, it used goner and it became the way it was when the attack finished but all my characters hp was 1. is that suppose to happen?

I remember the first time I beat the game at age 13. I was jokingly going into Kefka's tower thinking "I'm not gonna be strong enough yet but let's just see how far I can go". To my utmost dissapointment I progressed through the statues and the tiers with ease. Then I beat Kefka and the game was over. That's it. Over. "Well damn it I'm gonna train up anyway" I thought so I did. At this point I was very unhappy with the game because it didn't deliver the challenge I was anticipating. I wanted the same heart-pounding experience that I got with Dragon Warrior for the NES. Oh well, the cool music and nice artwork kept me coming back with my maxed out characters a few times. In school I would dream of much harder battles with Kefka which was fun.

That's odd. Fallen One brings your HP down to 1 but Goner doesn't.
