Another Bluepen Celes

A pensive Celes
This is yet another addition to my "bluepen series". This is more of a sketch, rather than a refined drawing. I was trying to get Celes' face to show emotion without having her face drastically contoured and correct modeling of her anatomy. When I drew this, I was think of her, Kefka, and Leo being presenting to the people of Vector. They were waving to the crowds and saluting them. Celes is going along with this, but she's really having this internal struggle going on. That is really good.
I spoke to you over chat, and you told me what the shading on her right leg is (I can't remember what it's called); I don't personally prefer that, but if you do it, I'd recommend doing something similar for the other leg. Man, I still can't figure out how you do these awesome drawings in bluepen.

omg Kame how could you forget the right hand?!
Teasing, teasing, I love it. I really like her expression, and the outfit is well-detailed. Plus you succeeded on the face, going by what you said in the first post. The anatomy is very good too. This looks very realistic, nothing cartoony about it. I like the shadows too, they really bring out the detail of the outfit. So as usual with Kame's drawings:

Heh...good job, Kame. Though I prefer smoother, cartoonier art, this one is very good. I don't have a problem with anything except the eyes. They are... horizontal--too horizontal, and maybe a little high. But, other than those two eensy-weensy faults, I enjoy that piece.
