I liked the way the Amethyst glaze on the shell turned out, not so constant in shade. I also like the streak the eyes made - it's like its crying in pain from the broken antennae (which I did try to fix before the glaze firing). I was kinda upset that they broke two of the spikes during the bisque firing. Hehe. Nice. You're right the color of the shell is very nice. I like this one even better than Bahamut. I think the use of colors really make it stand out. Plus the Amethyst blue and the yellow give a nice contrast.

That's excellent. I don't think it's possible to do a much better job on a Whelk with clay than this one. Very nice.
