hello. i finally decided to join this board because i have no where else to go for answers! i would greatly greatly appreciate it someone could help me out. i've played through ff6 about a billion times but this time i want to throughly massacre it. and for that i need help with gau. if someone could please post a link to a definitive gau rage list i'd appreciate it. preferably one that is separates the world of balance from the world of ruin. and one that hopefully rules out if u can get allo ver and other miscelanous rages that are in question. thank you in advance for your help (hehe i hope i can get it). by the way, i am playing the psx version of ff6, although i have the snes one also. oh yeah, and ff4 rocks! thanks again.

why would you seperate the WOR with the WoB? The monsters are the same on both/ just more in the WoR

hey mogmaster, that's another point you bring up. i've heard things such as that the WoB monsters don't appear in the WoR, and i've also heard that they do appear in the WoR. see, i just don't know, and it's making me crazy walking around on the veldt. i've put 30 hours in on the WoB already. i've been trying to use this guide i have for the game, but it only lists 245 possible rages but i know there's 255. at least i think there are. i just really need it spelled out for me. and i know i'm asking a lot, but if the definitive list of gua's rages (if one exists) is numbered, that would be a major plus. and thanks again everybody.

Here you go: Rages and Lores Guide
GameFAQs and Caves of Narshe (Yes, there is a site that goes along with this forum) usually have the answers to all FF6-related questions. Check them from now on, that's what they are there for. -------------------- Je ne t'aime plus, Mon amour... Je ne t'aime plus, Tous les jours... |

Well, the enemies from the WoB that you can fight show up in WoR, only if you got them enabled for Veldt play. You have to fight an enemy to be able to get the rage of it on the Veldt, so if you didn't fight Intangir in WoB, you dont have a chance of getting one on the Veldt if you're in the WoR. |

Hi maxpkmf. A rage list won't do you much good if you don't which ones to get at what times. I've written an informative document about Gau's best rages which you can read right here:

thanks you for your help so far. in regards to stephen the third, i have searched the internet already (including the cavesofnarshe site because i know it does exist) and i came up with a few good faqs concerning rages, including the one you mentioned. and now that i'm looking at it again it does appear to be complete. it would be really nice if the list had the WoB and WoR seperated so i could leave the WoB knowing that i had already acquired all the rages instead of worrying that i've missed a few rages and/or encountering some of the monsters. so if anyone could help me out i'd appreciate it. thanks again.
