I've noticed there are a few things which don't make sense, or an answer wasn't provided. If anyone knows the answers to these or any more things which don't really have a reason, please post them. If an answer is provided at the end or later on in the WOR, (when I completed it last time I skipped all the sidequests and just completed it with the 3 characters you need) then just poke me with a stick and tell me to be quiet.

1) Ramuh comes to Mog in a dream, right? Saying to be expecting the guys. Now does this mean the Espers can see into the future, because Lone Wolf probably wasn't planning on kidnapping Mog for all those days, and I'm not sure if Locke stood up and said, "Hey you guys, let's head towards Moogle Village in the mountains near Narshe even though it's got not much to do with our adventure and see if we can find a talking moogle who likes dancing to join our party".

Why on earth was

Strago walking around in a zombified state, at the bottom of Fanatic's Tower? All that happens is Relm comes up to him, calls him an old fool and he pops back to the realm of conciousness again. What is up with that?

So if anyone can provide answers to these questions, then thanks!

Well, I don't think that either of those are ever explained. They are just nifty little things for people to discuss. Me myself will now be wondering, late at night, sleeplessly, for the answer to the Mog one. Strago's is something that I can make up fairly easily:

Strago, when he was blown away from the airship, got influenced by Kefka's tower, since Strago is magic sensitive, as he is a descendant of some color of Mage.

I'm sure that helps you all of none. That's what I'm here for. thumbup.gif

Maybe Mog just has some psychic link with Espers or something. But then something else would of happened in the game. Well I dont know if anyone could give a perfectly clear response about that one, but it would be interesting to read. Ive never really thought about it though.

I think a possible answer to your second question could be:

Possible spoilers: highlight to view
Strago might have assumed Realm was dead, and just couldnt deal.

As far as the first question:

I think its safe to assume that Mog is a pretty random/mysterious character, and that giving him a connection with an esper just makes him seem all that much cooler

Oh, and Figaro, hes a blue mage by the way.

OK, I'm gonna use this thread for a place to ask about stuff that doesn't make sense.

My question is, what is that little bunny rabbit that jumps in and says, "Mugu, mugu!" when Setzer uses Lagomorph? Is the rabbit the Lagomorph itself, or something else?

In scientific nomenclature, Rabbits fall into the Order category, Lagomorpha, which means 'hare-shaped'. It was once thought that rabbits were part of the Order Rodentia (with rats), but certain living habits have shown that they deserved their own Order category.

Course that still doesnt explain what that has to do with a Slots skill. Wouldn't it have made more sense (or just as little sense) if giant Red, Blue and Yellow '7's fell on the characters and healed them?

That wouldn't happen, probably because most of Setzer's slot moves suck, and having a cool move like that just WOULDn't happen. A dancing rabbit is a lot more suckier, so it fits the Slot skill. My theory anyway. biggrin.gif

PS: I mean Setzer's slot skill is too unreliable, not that I don't like him or he's too weak. My Setzer actually has a lot of useful magic.

That's deprogramming applied to video game time.

Hi guys, I'm Tryscal The Great. I'm new to these forums, but I'm not new to the Final Fantasy series! I love them, especially the old school versions. Glad to meet you guys.

Anyhow, it's safe to assume that Strago just couldn't handle the shock of the events that occured in the world. He was alone, weak by himself. He needed guidance, something to believe in, safety in numbers in this dangerous world. So, he thought he could find solace by joining a cult, which happens to be the Cult of Kefka.

I think Strago got slightly "knocked off course" by the partial destruction of the world and went mildly crazy, until Relm came along and something clicked (this time for good!) in his mind and he remembered who he was and what he had to do.

Well Strago thought that Relm died, so for him all was lost and he had nothing left to live for. Therefore he sold his life to Kefka. That's my theory.
