Does Anyone think the Game would have been better if at the Statues on the Floating Continant Place in the game you could some how make a decision to influence the New Leader, Oh say Somehow make gesthal win out over kefka? Do You think if this option was available to make Kefka Leader, or Gesthal Leader, or One of them letting the other live as underling, the game would be more fun? dry.gif

In a word: No. Kefka is oh so much more evil than Gestahl, and much more amusing. Plus, Kefka is certifiably insane, whereas Gestahl is just power hungry. Plus, Gestahl didnt want to destroy the world, he wanted to rule it.

Although, I always thought it would be cool if you got a chance to fight Gestahl.......nothing as epic as, say, fighting Atma Weapon, but I always wondered what hed be like to fight.

i completely second newbie's comment. Kefka was mentally ill, wanting to destroy the world whereas Gestahl wouldn't destroy it yet merely rule over all. I'm even going to say that if Gestahl would've won, the World of Balance would've remained intact. Kefka snapping and killing the emperor and completely altering the face of the world remains to be my favorite part of the game.

OK, on the topic particle on fighting Gestahl, I have to link to CoN's rumour page, which has one about fighting Gestahl. Rumours
IMO, I think that the game wouldn't really have been better if you hod been able to have Gestahl fight and kill Kefka. Kefka was SO much more evil then Gestahl, so therefore, Kefka was more fun just by himself. And also, if Gestahl won over Kefka, Square would have had to rewrite the ENTIRE WoR (if there would have been one), a rather daunting task.
