Hey gang. I was just wondering if anybody out there likes the Homestar Runner web cartoon. It's awesome to the max IMO. If you have no clue as to what I'm talking about, the site may be found here. For some of the best comedy on the site, you'd wanna check out the Strong Bad Emails.

I'd really like to hear from other fans of the toon, or just your opinions of it.

Enjoy! biggrin.gif

I've been a big Homestar Runner fan for a while now. It's one of my favorite things about the internet in general. I probably quote something from Homestar Runner at least once a day, if not more.

And yeah, Strong Bad E-mails are probably my favorite part of the site.

Arrowed! Children! MSG'ed!

Strong Bad is hilarious. Strong Sad is good fun too, and Homestar sounds like Brak from Space Ghost. Good stuff.

Homestarrunner 0wnz my soul... I can recite at least half of the most excellent SBE's just because I watch them so damn much. Teen Girl Squad = best online comic EVAR... Best Strong Bad Email has to be either the one where Strong Bad writes a kids book (Everyone is different, no two people are not on fire.... awww), the local news (`~Ohhh, if you want to be possessive, it's just I-T-S, but if it's supposed to be a contraction than it's I-T-apostraphe-S, scalawag~`), or the 50th email (How do you manage the telegramophone whilst wearing gentlemen sport gloves, signed Lord Ellsington Halstingdingdingworth)... and let me just say that Homsar is my hero.... because I too was raised by a cup of coffee... May I just say that HSR might just be the best site online ... er, second best site online, of course is what I meant >_>

I likes me some Homestar Runner, I do indeedy. My friend pointed me at the Strong Bad E-mails several months ago. The first one I looked at was "dragon", natch. TROGDOOOOR!! My favorite one so far has to be "guitar". Jug jigga jug jigga jug jigga jug jigga jug jigga JAH JAAAAH...

I go to UCSC, and lately I've been seeing people on campus wearing Homestar Runner gear. I've seen two people wearing Trogdor shirts and one guy wearing one of those Strong Bad knit caps. They make me happy. smile.gif

Oh man thanks, for some reason I completely forgot about the japanese cartoon one. Wow is that hilarious. So realistic too. I need to go watch it again...and maybe go burninate the countryside or something.

One word: Homsar! Homsar is the best character on that site!! Next to Strong Bad and The Cheat! "Ohh no! I think this is my favorite!" So great. happy.gif

The caffine email is also good too. Just as good as dragon and japanese cartoon ("Hahaha, Pan-Pan is fat! Haha, he fell on you! "Haha, he's a good bear! Love it! wub.gif ) Nothing like watching Strong Sad on a sugar rush... "IFEELGREATIFEELGREATIFEELGREATIFEELBAD!!" *laughs*

Has anyone here ever tried writing Strong Bad an email? I've tried twice. I keep saying I'm going to conquer Strong Badia.tongue.gif

yeah, I've written SB an email, but he didn't write back sad.gif BUT, I did email the guys who made it, the brothers Chaps (Mike and Matt Chapman), and they did email me back. Pretty awesome.

My favorite episodes are i she be, spring cleaning, sb_email 22, sisters, 50 emails, japanese cartoon, dragon, and caffeine. All classics.

That site is the most hilarious thing on the Internet. Period. My friend introduced it to me back in September, after I got back from deployment. I've been a total addict ever since. The two of us can't go five minutes without quoting something from there when we're together. Utterly hilarious stuff. The Strong Bad e-mails are the best, of course, although many of the other cartoons are good too, along with the shorts. Marzipan's answering machine is really good for a laugh, too (the best one is when Stinkoman called biggrin.gif). Favorite e-mails include Trogdor, Japanese cartoon, children's book, and the recent one where he gave Strong Sad caffeine (I absolutely died when he began slapping Coach Z around...seriously, I could hardly breathe). So, yeah, I love that place. And I too am getting frustrated at the lack of a recent update. Hopefully they've got something good coming up. One of the things I find most hilarious about Strong Bad is his attention to bad grammar and spelling, because it's something to which I can closely relate. smile.gif

I dare anyone to get farther than me in the Trogdor game. Level 21, with over 2000 points. happy.gif

While were on H*R and SB topic, does anybody have a complete transcript of what Strong Sad says in all his crazee parts in 'Caffeine"? Some of it's pretty fast, so it's hard to tell what he's saying.

Thanks in advance.

The homestar interview is the best toon. The one message on Marzipan's answering machine in which Homestar calls her a hippie is pretty good too.
