Has anyone noticed that parts of Kefka's Tower look very similar to areas in Vector? like theres one room that looks exactly like the prison in the castle(room u fight Atma in) one looks like the Magitek Research Facility except the tubes are shattered. and it also has the battle backgrounds for the Imperial Castle and Magitek Factory? are the 2 some how related?

If you look at some of the dialouge, it will explain how all sorts of debris gathered towards vector and began building a large tower, aka Kefka's Tower

I'm pretty sure that parts of Vector, including those you mentioned, as well as others such as the bathrooms, were at least partially unharmed when the world went into ruin. Kefka simply took advantage of that and used it as a "base" on which to build his tower.
