So what's everyone's opinion on them?
Eminem takes home video of the year, and Guns & Roses finishes off the show. How about that Eminem/Moby clash? Jeez, I don't think MTV could have done anything dumber than pissing off Eminem with Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. I mean, that Moby thing had died down at least. Until that happened. How about that attire? Christina Aguilera (*cough*) among others. -------------------- The clouds ran away, opened up the sky And one by one I watched every constellation die And there I was frozen, standing in my backyard Face to face, eye to eye, staring at the last star I should've known, walked all the way home To find that she wasn't here, I'm still all alone -Atmosphere "Always Coming Back Home to You" |

Eminem: whining bitch, someone needs to kick this guy's ass and take his ego down a few notches. Yes, you're the man now, so shut up and stop both your whining and your fake tough-guy attitude. (Even if that's the only way he sells records...) BTW, could someone tell me why does he have such a beef with Moby anyway?
Guns N Roses: disappointing, what's-his-face the lead singer BUTCHERED Paradise City, which I didn't even know was POSSIBLE. Christina Aguilera: HOLY SHITE!!! The dog-thing: cheap ripoff of MuchMusic's Ed the Sock, right down to the cigar, only with one difference: HE'S NOT FUNNY! Ed is my hero, the dog is crap. Did anyone else notice Avril Lavigne basically shove that bimbo from American Idol out of the way when she got her award? And the people at MuchMusic (the Canadian answer to MTV) had a collective orgasm when she thanked Much in her speech. Was it not possible to get a funnier host than that Farrell guy from SNL? I mean, he had his moments, but all-in-all he had NO energy, NO good delivery, and NO place being there. -------------------- I close my mouth now and I scream, Open the door, there's nothing worth redeeming I saw your face before in rough, You should wait around a while, your body's bound to turn up. It was Jimmy Falon that was hosting. Not the ingenious Will Farrell who left SNL last year for bigger and better things.

Fallon, Farrell, sorry, got confused. Anyway, if you noticed, most of the time when the camera panned the audience during Fallon's skits, the people just looked BORED. The scripted banters between presenters were terrible, and the whole Hagar vs. Roth thing was confusing.
How about Pink's drunken acceptance speech, though? ![]() -------------------- I close my mouth now and I scream, Open the door, there's nothing worth redeeming I saw your face before in rough, You should wait around a while, your body's bound to turn up. I tend not to watch those things. You know, typical mainstream is bad bit, but apparently KoRn performed? I dunno, my friend said they did and that they were good.
Remember, mainstream baaad. -------------------- Okay, but there was a goat! |

Hahaha, Eminem got booed. The little TLC tribute was nice, and Guns n Roses were great. But when it comes down to it, it was as disappointing as I expected it to be. Justin Timberlake is a cheap Michael Jackson ripoff, nobody likes Nelly, and Jimmy Fallon's comedy fell a bit short. Not to mention Linkin Park winning best rock video... Geez.

Linkin Park is backed by a big label, they can pay out the ass to have crazy videos with CG animated stuff. Ooh.

They're just trying to make up for their obvious lack of musical talent. Give 'em a break.

No, and they were only nominated for one award, that I noticed. KoRn has all but vanished from the limelight. -------------------- I close my mouth now and I scream, Open the door, there's nothing worth redeeming I saw your face before in rough, You should wait around a while, your body's bound to turn up. Hmmm, well that is actully better then. Less people claiming to be fans, and such. Linkin Park needs to get videos with crazy effects because their talent is not only lacking, it's non existant. -------------------- Okay, but there was a goat! |
