14, 19, 29, 40, 44, 52, 59, 73, 83, 94.
Add the two digits of each number together, then add that sum to the original number to get the next number! 1 + 4 = 5 5 + 14 = 19, and so forth. -------------------- Fear the Minstrel Boy, for he sings. |

Lets have another numerical one:
If you wrote all the numbers from 300 to 400 down, how many times would have written the digit 3? -------------------- Fear the Minstrel Boy, for he sings. |

You're right Del, I was actually thinking of the letter "L", but you are also correct. You're up.

K, mine is a 4 part one, though it is still easy. You must answer all 4 correctly to win!
1) Mr. Jones and Mrs. Jones have six Daughters. Each Daughter has one brother. How many people are there in the Jones family? 2) How many times can you minus five from thirty? 3) Before Mt. Everest was discovered, what was the tallest Mountain in the world? 4) Which one is correct? "The yolk of the egg is white." or "The yolk of the egg are white." -------------------- "And that, my liege, is how we know the Earth to be banana-shaped” -Sir Bedevere the Wise |

1) 14?
2) 1 time 3) Mount Everest was always the tallest mt. 4) Egg yolks aren't white. EDIT: Realized Mt.Everest isn't a peak either. This post has been edited by @Ss@Ss!N on 25th January 2004 02:30 -------------------- "The Hero I am not. I can do naught." Respect Frog... |

i think the 1st question................each daughter has a brother....it could be the same brother.....or an infinite amount of brothers.....the riddle is actually flawed in itself
i guess the answer he is looking for is 9 If the answer is right someone else can ask a riddle in my place....i really dont know any This post has been edited by Smash on 25th January 2004 05:19 |

I don't see how it could flaw itself though. There are 6 daughters, 1 son, and the 2 parents. (they each have one brother. Not 6 brothers, not 10 brothers. People think there is one for each daughter. But then each of the daughters would have 6 brothers, not just one. @ssasin, you're up. What's black when you get it, Red when you use it, And white when you're all through with it? This post has been edited by @Ss@Ss!N on 25th January 2004 06:15 -------------------- "The Hero I am not. I can do naught." Respect Frog... |

However, if i am right -somehow- , it should be fadiens turn as he got the earlier one correct... -------------------- "Only the dead have seen the end of their quotes being misattributed to Plato." -George Santayana "The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here..." -Abraham Lincoln, prior to the discovery of Irony. |
