Let's see here... The 19th amendment [if I remember correctly] was passed in 1920. Since his last election didn't start until 1918, his mother unable to vote for him. ^^ gj whoever got it right.

Ok, I thought of one:
There are 3 missionaries and 3 cannibals that need to cross a river. Only two may fit in the single boat at one time, and if there are ever more cannibals than missionaries on one side, the missionaries will be eaten. How do you safely transport all of them to the other side? This post has been edited by The Minstrel Boy on 28th June 2004 19:36 -------------------- Fear the Minstrel Boy, for he sings. |

This one has been done before using different things (monsters and monster tamers) Check old riddles before you post new ones.

Yea, it was posted by me, but I changed it to Monsters and Monster Tamers.
I also had it be known that only 1 of the Monsters could row the boat, which makes it a bit more difficult. -------------------- "And that, my liege, is how we know the Earth to be banana-shaped” -Sir Bedevere the Wise |

Okay here's one:
Four people need to cross a bridge. One of them takes one minute to cross the bridge, one takes 2 minute, one takes 5, and one takes 10. The problem is they only have one flashlight, it's pitchblack, and the bridge can only support two of them at a time. How can you get them all across in 17 minutes? (note: when two people are going across together, they move at the rate of the slower person.) (note: I'm between trips and may not be around to check the answer, so if someone else might have to confirm it if the answer works. It's not a trick or anything.) -------------------- Hip-Hop QOTW: "Yeah, where I'ma start it at, look I'ma part of that Downtown Philly where it's realer than a heart attack It wasn't really that ill until the start of crack Now it's a body caught every night on the Almanac" "Game Theory" The Roots |
