You leave one alone, you turn one on for a couple of minutes then turn it back off, and you turn the last one on and leave it that way. When you go upstairs all you have to do is feel one of the lights that are off, if it is warm then it is the one you turned on and then off again. The other two would be common sense.

Sorry for the double post, but I figured it had been long enough.
Went ahead and put a new one in, it's been dead long enough that was open to anyone. When you look into my face, I shall never lie; Instead be but a window into your soul, whether there light or shadows hide; As in me many see their deaths where others see their lives; In this deny me many try, but they simply twist their knives; For though prejudiced to some I may seem, The lie is their own lives. We have no control, yet I want to conquer the world, so I had a dream of unity in wich we pity the dead with the Automatic Man and Billy.

That riddle is stretching it a bit, but I believe the answer is Bad Religion.
No Control was the name of the album. Billy, Automatic Man, and I Want to Conquer the World were all songs from that album. -------------------- "My impersonation of an ordinary person was flawless." - Neal "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." - Dr. Seuss |

Exactly.
"No control" "Billy" "I want to conquer the world" "Dream of unity" and "Pity the dead" are songs of Bad Religion. Most are from the album "No Control" "Dream of unity" is from the 1996 live album - "Tested" and "Pity the dead", also available on "Tested" is, I believe, from their album - "How can hell be any worse?" What is the value of 1/2 of 2/3 of 3/4 of 4/5 of 5/6 of 6/7 of 7/8 of 8/9 of 9/10 of 1,000?

So much cancelling. It turns out to be asking for 1/10 of 1000, which is 100.
