TO effectively disable a warrior or a mage, Beowulf is the key. Use Innocent on the mages and Chicken on the warriors. It even works on bosses! Innocent makes mages hit 0 with their spells, and Chicken...well, if they drop under 0 brave they turn into a chicken. Much like a frog except they don't even retaliate...

Actually, they turn to chicken if they're under 10 brave, and they gain a brave point back every turn until they regenerate their normal bodies at 10.

Just trying to help those ppl with Elidibs in the dungeon. Chickenising works on him too, and so does innocent. When he tries to do Zodiac on you, the easiest way to learn it is...to innocent-ise him, and then he can do the summon on you without any damage. So useful for getting five people with Zodiac.

Actually, you have to take some sort of damage (HP or MP) from Elidibs to have the summoner learn Zodiac. Innocenting him mid-charge will have it do zero damage to you and be a wasted effort.

Then have Beowulf Innocent him and then have a mediator do preach. Easy enough. (mediator should be item-finder as well...)

Innocent doesn't affect faith in any way. All magic damage are cancelled and status magic have no chance of hitting. (Faith related magic of course)
Why using Innocent instead of Silence also? This one is permanent unless cured. For Elidibs, nothing easier than mind breaking him a bit. The MP Switch method also works but some won't use it since they find it too cheap.  If you want to learn Zodiac, forget innocent.
