How many dream sequences does Shadow really have? I have been around to many Internet sites, and they often say different things about his dreams. One even said he had seven dreams, but I have never seen more than four, plus a fifth when you find him in the WoR, no matter how much I sleep at different locations.

Spoilers aplenty abound:
You can see the first four dreams in order at any inn, at any time, in the WoB OR WoR. The fifth is automatic, and plays once you've got Shadow back in the WoR, as he sleeps in Thamasa. Hence, if you haven't seen any dreams in the WoB, you see the fifth one first. The sixth dream is Relm's, and comes in place of the fifth if you didn't save Shadow. So, you can never see all six in one game. There isn't a seventh, unless you count Cyan's dreamworld. Plus, the dreams do not affect Shadow's part of the game ending, or indeed any part. I posted this in the FAQ topic, but it seems to have been deleted without being added to the FAQ. I also posted this reply in another topic fairly recently, so it is indeed frequently asked. |

I never knew there was a dream sequence with Relm, because I always saved Shadow. Can you tell me what happens in it ? |

the dreams do show that relm is shadows daughter. the seventh dream...a mystery, but yet square proclaims it exists, i always figured it was part of the cyan dream...

Someone has said that there are only 6 Shadow/Relm dreams. The seventh of the "Seven Dreams" is actually Cyan's dream, making a total of 7 dreams in the entire game.
