You know the big mid-battle scene with Locke and Edgar when Terra first uses magic against the Magitek armour? Well, I was just wondering: What happens if you don't use magic there, but wait till later on? Or even, wait until you have Espers before using magic for the first time? Or does anything special happen?

You can only see the scene when fighting the M-Tek armors after leaving Figaro castle.

Wrong. If you cast Fire anytime after that battle (at least until the end of the Figaro cave) that scene will be played. After the Figaro cave I have no idea.

You mean Locke won't notice. The M-TekArmor battle is the first time Edgar fights, remember?

Possible spoilers: highlight to view I have to wonder, is that because Locke isn't a p______ like Edgar?
