What is the difference between Dragoon Boots and Dragon Horn? I've heard they both make the character able to use Jump.

DragoonBoots changes Fight to Jump.
Dragon Horn gives the Jump attack the ability to hit anywhere from once to 4 times. Dragon Horn won't give you the ability to Jump however, though it doesn't matter if the relic is used in conjunction with DragoonBoots or Palidor, it will give you the 1-4 hits when you do use Jump in any form. Unlike Offering, Dragon Horn gives no damage penalties and doesn't restrict the weapon's abilities in any way. Here's some more Dragon Horn info for the curious. From Terii's algorithms doc: Quote 75% chance for 2 attacks 18.75% chance for 3 attacks 6.25% chance for 4 attacks Though, in practice, I have never missed the second jump. Take that testimony for what it's worth (nothing). And that's all I can think of as far as relevant Dragon Horn info is concerned. Edit Misread it. 2-4 hits actually (you always get at least two). I read it as though it randomized for each hit, but it just takes one random number, adds a hit automatically (2 hits at least) and then checks the random number to see if the third and fourth hits should be added. So... yeah. This post has been edited by Master ZED on 12th December 2003 21:14 -------------------- |

That's great info, Zed, I will try to remember to update the site to reflect it.
