Let's say you level Yang, Rydia, Edward, and Cecil the DK up around Fabul until level 30. (you have a lot of time?) (Maybe Rosa, too)

Do these levels stay with Yang and Rydia when they return later, or are their new levels based off of Cecil the Paladin's?

I think their levels are based on the experience Paladin Cecil gains while they're gone, and that is just added on to whatever they had when they left. It may be level, I'm not sure.

But I am sure that their levels do NOT stay the same. They go up.

That makes sense. Does the same apply to Tellah, or I would imagine not.

Seeing that I have messed with a lot of programming languages, I would say they would have to change. It would get pretty complicated if they didn't. Yeah, I would definitely say that they would change when you turn into a paladin.

I don't understand what you're trying to say here. Change to what? From what? I don't see what messing with programming languages has taught you that you're trying to explain, unfortunately.

Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? Or perhaps buying a really good looking shirt?

His would be based on the Dark Knight's. During a normal playthrough, Tellah normally gains about three levels for me, which I guess is roughly about what the Dark Knight gains while he's gone.
