I wander around the map leveling my characters up in each battle but on all the Battle fields i notice that Humans Sometimes appear as a geust or enemies i wonder (like the special lvl 40 monk battle) are there ways to get NPC vs PC battles

(I came across a battle in the Mandalia Plains were 2 archers and 3 squires fought me) dry.gif

Define what you mean by NPC vs. PC battles. Humans are part of the enemies you sometimes face and they can be treated the same as any other foe, they turn into crystals...can be invited...etc. Sometimes you will run across one or more "guests" who might aid you in your fight against other enemies. They can be invited if you want to keep them in your party after the battle, otherwise they will disapear if you win.

To answer your question, the battles are completely random, just as Monster vs. Party battles. However, you've already encountered one of the secret battles - the all-Monk battle. There's another one - all-Ninja - in...Araguay? Yeah, that's it. And I've run into an all-Samurai battle in Zigolis, but I think that was luck.

These are the humans I most often encounter in different battles:
1) Zirekile Falls - Oracles
2) Zigolis Swamp - Samurai
3) Yoguo Woods - random Undead humans
4) Lenalia Plateau - Knights, Squires, Mediators
5) Araguay Woods - Monks

Hope this helps.

You know. I think you're a very special unit.

Here are the ones I remember

Lenalia Plateau --> Calculators
Germinas Hill ---> Gun-users
Fovoham Plains ---> Knight/Time Mages/Something Else (Fem. Monks?)
Bariaus Valley ---> Three entrances = Many combos; Female knights if you enter from the south.
Poeskas Lake ---> Male Archer, Male Knight (comingled with monsters)
Finath River ---> Oracles
Sweegy Woods ---> Female and Male Monks (enter from east)
Dolbodar Swamp --> Hmm....archers/geomancers or some mages =/

Sorry I don't remember that much; haven't played for awhile.

Deep dungeon VOYAGE has an all Archer battle. Some of them may even carry bow better than the Ultimus Bow (I've seen one with Yoichi Bow); One of them even carried a Gastrafitis, which is very rare and odd, particularly at high levels.
On the same level, another battle takes place and can include a few number of Wizards, Summoners and Calculators.

Deep Dungeon HORROR has a Samouraï / Ninja battle, which can turn out very bad for you if you're not careful (most people go there with Catch equiped to get good items, but when you're not set up like that, it can be difficult).

I remember others, but not where. Probably some battles already mentionned...

I believe there is always one archer in that VOYAGE battle who carries a Yoichi Bow. Of course, you get the Perseus Bow on that level as well, so the excitement cancels out.

----------

VOYAGE --> All Calculator battle
END --> Wizard/Archer/Mediator/Oracle (with Uribo/Porkys)-and- Fem. Priests (with chocobos)
MLAPAN --> Four-human battle, sometimes one person is a guest (Fem. Monk) // Male Priest, Fem. Wizard battle (with monsters)
TERMINATE --> Knight/Wizard/Archer/Monk(?) battle

Hmm....I'll see if I can think of some more.

I ran into it quite a few times : there isn't always an Archer with a Yoichi Bow, only sometimes. It's weird though, how some battles can break the equipment limitation, like this one or the Germinas Peak gun users battle.

VOYAGE --> All Calculator battle

I think it's the same one that I already mentionned, with a mix of Wizards, Summoners and Calculators. Sometimes you may have only two classes or even only one.

Yeah, you can have an all-calculator battle, an all-wizard battle, or an all-summoner battle. Sometimes its the classes mingle and occassionally they're all the same. I only put the calculator permutation because that was the only one I could remember.
