Myself I would choose Delita or Zalbag since Delita is a really cool guy and Zalbag is your brother and doesn't trust you at first yet he is still kinda powerful

Everyone knows the 'Delita's Sister' class is the best in the game. It has Auto-Death! I hear it actually has a skillset with some crap like Wish.

Zalbag is my favorite final fantasy tactics character. I love it when he jumps out the door and kill a man in the scene where Teta is being kidnapped.

I'd say Alma. She was technically on your team for a short period of time, but she definitely felt more like a guest than anything else. Although she wasn't really all that strong, fast, or tough, she had that awesome defensive spell that was more or less the be-all and end-all of impregnable statistics: Haste, Protect, Shell, etc.

Zalbag gets a close second, though I think it really depends on when you'd get him. Early on, definitely, but later, perhaps not.

EDIT: Forget Zalbag, go Olan! Galaxy Stop is one of the sweetest and cheapest spells in the game, and it makes the battle involving him ridiculously easy as a consequence. In fact, he might be pushing the number one spot for me.

I would say either Alma or Olan. Alma for her magic spells, and Olan for Galaxy Stop, wich is one of the best spell in the game IMO.

olan would just be another COMPLETELY OVERPOWERED character that the game didnt need. so would salbag, yet i voted for him anyway. *shrugs* oh well, i think that maybe alma would have been cool. my first time through i thought that i may have been able to get izlude, who woulda been hella cool! ah well

i also like Alma she saved me in the battle gaisnt Altima

if i could play one or two i would want to play olan and zalbag. and delita is not cool he kills everyone if he's not using them.

IMO, Olan's definitely an easy choice. Do I really even need to explain why? Ok, fine. I'll explain it in two words then: Galaxy Stop. Need I say more?

Second would have to be Alma that one protective skill of her's (I forget what it's called) Was just awesome.

Ok Zalbag is my favourite NPC in the game but i honestly think that it would be cool if you get the option of having the guys you save every so often in random battles. You save them and that is it and that kinda sucks because you actually want to keep some of them like i was in a battle saving this one guy level97 abilities out the @$$ from like 7 bull demons who did 500+ damage every time they hit now i think i deserved to get that guy in my party.

The name of Alma's spell was MBarrier, and I'd still choose Olan. Still, when you think about it, their classes are pretty boring because they both only have like 3 unique spells between them: MBarrier, DeathSpell, and Galaxy Stop. I think they werent given cool skill sets because if they were and you could get them, everyone would use those characters instead of diversifying the game with regular characters. My 2 cents

Personally, I'd like to have Alma on my team. MBarrier and Deathspell2 would both be nice to have. Alms can also learn Ultima, which with her pretty high MA would actually be pretty useful.
