Has anyone heard this band? Apparently they are new, but they sound just like Queen. As a big Queen fan, I was quite pleased with this.

That link opens a Christmas song by them, but its fantastic, the rest of their album is really good as well.

Check it out, Im curious to see if anyone else likes them too.

I read about them last night in Entertainment Weekly. They sound quite amusing, and I might have to check it out. It's not so much my type of music, but I am intrigued.

IIRC they got to Number 1 in the UK, or thereabouts. They're pretty good, IMO...

Yup, I've heard of them. The local rock radio station here plays "I Believe in a Thing called Love" constantly. One of the DJs loves it so much that he plays it every chance he gets. tongue.gif

I like it too. I turn it up and sing to it everytime it comes on! laugh.gif Has anyone seen the video for that song? It's... genius blink.gif

So that's the name of that band. Judging from that one song I've heard, I kinda like them. The video and song are weird, but cool-weird. I'll have to check them out.

Well, according to the Daily Record, the lead singers doen something all good rocks stars should do: he got arrested by the NYPD! blink.gif

Seems they mistook him for a Fugitive with the same name. After a spokesman convinced New Yorks finest the only Criminal record that Justin Hawkins has was maybe 'Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End)' they let him go.

However, when you consider that in the very same paper, there was an article about how the same Police fined a man for 'making noise pollution' when his sons ballon burst, and alos described other unsual summons by the NY authorities, liek a pregnant woman ordered to appear ebfore court for sittign on the steps in a subway (the article didnt specify if it was the Sandwich shop or the Underground railway ) its not all that surprising to see , is it?
