Wrong menu. I'm talking about when you enter the tower, not once you get to Kefka.

Guess I misunderstood, then. I thought when he said "..to avoid having a party of 4 against Kefka.." he meant in the actual final battle against Kefka.
Answer's still right. -------------------- Hey, put the cellphone down for a while In the night there is something wild Can you hear it breathing? And hey, put the laptop down for a while In the night there is something wild I feel it, it's leaving me |

Here is my trivia question:
Part 1)For each of the standard 14 characters, specify if they have any slain friends/loved ones and, if so, name at least one. Try to name them all if you can. Part 2)For which characters does the answer depend on how you play the game? Part 3)Which characters have no one who was killed directly by the Empire? Just to clarify: People who die in the middle of the game count. They have to have died by something other than natural causes to be cosidered 'slain' and the game has to give some sort of evidence to back that up. For example: Strago's father obviously would be dead. There is no evidence telling us whether he just died or was killed for being a mage warrior so he does not count as a slain relative. Hmm...
1)Terra- Both of her parents were killed by the Empire, General Leo was killed by the Empire (am I the only one that could sense a chemistry building between these two on the boat to Thamasa?) Locke-Rachel was killed by the Empire Edgar and Sabin-It was rumored their Father was poisoned by the Empire Cyan-His entire civilization was poisoned by the Empire Gau-his mother died giving birth to him, if that counts Celes-Cid can live or die depending upon your actions Setzer-Daryl dies in an airship crash Mog-all of his Moogle buddies die in the World of Ruin (if that counts...) Shadow- Baram died escaping from their train robbery Relm-Both of her parents are dead as far as she knows (technically ![]() Strago- No one I can think of Umaro-No one Gogo-No one 2) Cid's death or survival on the Solitary Island is the only one I can think of...so I guess Celes is the only answer to this question. 3)Mog, Umaro,Gau,Setzer,Shadow,Relm,Strago,Gogo, and Celes |

Tony's up. Good job, you even got general Leo and the moogles
![]() I was thinking of both Cid and Shadow being people who may or may not die depending on how you play the game, Possible spoilers: highlight to view but since Relm doesn't know about her father Shadow either way just mentioning Cid is good enough. Add PM Stalker and Telstar to that list. So far we have:

Ok folks, identify the places in the game where your characters have to sleep (the character or characters that you're controlling). It has to be a direct part of the storyline, and it has to either be shown or be mentioned by a character (ex: "Let's get some sleep and head out at daybreak"). This doesn't count having characters being knocked unconscious on the floor. They have to be in a bed. You don't necessarily have to see the beds, as long as the game makes it clear that your characters are indeed sleeping.

you said it doesnt count when they get knocked out or something like that, so ill skip when terra wakes up in arvis's house.
im going to go with everything figaro said (even though im not quite sure of when they have to sleep in kohlingen), and im going to add onto the list figaro castle if you bring both edgar and sabin on the way to find terra in zozo (not necessary), and albrook before you set sail for thamasa. -------------------- You watch the world exploding every single night Dancing in the sun, a newborn in the light Say goodbye to gravity and say goodbye to death Hello to eternity and live for every breath Your time will come... |

Figaro Castle, Narshe after Terra leaves the party (Locke's in bed), Albrook after peace with the Empire (Celes and Locke), the ship to Thamasa (Terra, Leo, Locke, Shadow), Thamasa after you meet Strago (Locke, Terra, Shadow), Celes's year-long hiatus after the Apocalypse (Celes), Doma Castle for Cyan's Dream (Party + Cyan), and Relm/Shadow when rescued in the cave on the Veldt (Relm/Shadow).
Does Rachel "sleeping" in Kohlingen count? ![]() That's about all I can think of. |

I don't think any of the ones in the WoR really work for this question, since technically, the party doesn't "have" to sleep at any point after you get the Falcon. You can just head straight to Kefka's Tower. Clarification on that?

I was going on the assumption that all sidequests need to be completed. If we are talking about mandatory, minimalist game, then delete all of my WOR entries.

well if she fights a cactrot, an intangir, or any enemy or group of enemies that gives her 8 or more magic points at the end of a battle, then she only needs to fight one battle.
the morph guage is determined by how many magic points terra recieves after a battle, times two (ie: if she fights a hoover, she recieves 5 magic points, and therefore her morph guage goes up to 10, provided her morph was exhausted.), BUT it needs to be up at 16 or higher for her to be able to morph at all. -------------------- You watch the world exploding every single night Dancing in the sun, a newborn in the light Say goodbye to gravity and say goodbye to death Hello to eternity and live for every breath Your time will come... |

the game is based in hex, so the max is 255.
if you revert back to your normal form in battle, and then morph again in the SAME battle, your morph time formula is slighty changed, but whatever is used up is used up. the only way to get it back is to fill up the counter again. -------------------- You watch the world exploding every single night Dancing in the sun, a newborn in the light Say goodbye to gravity and say goodbye to death Hello to eternity and live for every breath Your time will come... |
