 Trick was in the wording. I'm not asking for the first time you "get" a mpturbo weapon, I'm asking for the first time you get to "attack" with one... regardless of whether or not the character has mp to use with it.  |

 What two "rare" items in the ff3US version have no use in terms of gameplay, and seem to be there only for character development? |

Alright, I'll settle for that, though I was thinking of the pendant and the "books" (machinery manual and ... book of secrets), but you're right on lola's letter being a character development item, since you can go back to maranda and switch the letters once you get cyan.

The books were in the US version. I just loaded it up and checked my saved game. I can send you a screen shot if you really want, but they are there.

I'd like to ask you, SMB, to give me some proof of that. The only 'job' Ultros ever has in the game in being a receptionist. Ziegfried doesn't show up there.

I think Dji has a point, since Chupon really did fight with Ultros and Zeigfred you could only theorize about.

Except the question was "Who was Siegfried's partner?," not "Who was Ultros' partner?" leaving Chupon completely out of the loop. Thanks.
Anyway, speaking of Chupon, he is quite vulnerable to this, the one thing that almost ensures his defeat in the Coliseum, providing your character actually uses it on him. It is a status condition. Don't give me crap about being vague, there's one I'm looking for, and if you don't answer with that one, think of a different one. BTW, if this has been asked before, oh well. I'm not about to read through 37 pages of replies. GO. |

In my own defense, about the Zeigfried question, the question said "colleague" which is a general term. You can be colleagues even though you are enemies, or do not know each other well for instance.
